The time for that was prior to the referendum. If he believed the 'facts' weren't getting aired, he could and should have aired them - as we've seen today, he only needs to mention he's doing a speech and the whole country's media sits up and takes note.
To be fair he was PM for 10 years & his views in regard to Brexit represent around 48% of the voting public.
I don't think you've addressed my points at all?

Yes, he was PM, and that means that in the rare event that they come back into the limelight they get attention - but if he felt that important facts weren't being aired before the ref, that was the time for him to come forward.

I don't think there's any basis to say that 48% agree with what he's proposing today, rising up and trying to overturn the last referendum with a fresh one.

If you're going to use that as a measure of success, you might as well say Hitler did a little better.

Predictable lefty response, completely missing the point. As usual.

Always think of Clarksons comment after socialist Cherie billed the taxpayer an enormous sum for her hairdresser, along the lines of- ' How can anyone spend that much on Cherie Blairs hair, when every man in the country knows she needs a foot long fringe' rofl

if you actually listen to the words he was talking complete nonsense. on one hand he says there is no appetite to change the result at the moment, but the people should be able to change their mind when they become aware of what the government propose .

then goes on to say the prime minister and chancellor were against brexit but are now telling us it is a great thing. does he mean only certain people are allowed to change their mind.

the fact he is mounting this campaign to stop brexit before he knows what the terms of leaving will actually be also makes the first part of his speech hypocritical in the extreme. to be expected as the man is the epitome of hypocrisy.

I was highlighting your own gross hypocrisy.
Clearly way too high-brow for you to understand.

Any idea if Blair has any more illegal regime changes up his sleeve?

I think Blair's hand was very much forced by GWB. He attempted (foolishly) to justify an unjustifiable war & then hope that the corroborative evidence was found after the fact.
My feeling is that given free reign, Blair would have avoided the Iraq war. The US was going to war regardless.

Precisely my point, but thanks anyway.

Repeat...point completely missed. Hint...your response WAS my point. Think about it.
