What's the difference between Sexual Assault and Indecent Assault?
Historic? Indecent assault was the offence until the Sexual Offences Act 2003 replaced it with sexual assault. Maybe different in scotland though
Similar story in Scotland albeit the reforms took place in 2009 with the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.

Why the juddering fk would you include the words in bold? They are unnecessary, adding nothing to the sentence or paragraph and seem to suggest a subconscious unwritten suggestion of - "because we really, really tried as it's SOP for this type of thing but some tt leaked it before we could"
hehe It does read like they would have covered it up if they could!

There we have it. The defence rests.

If he manages to take that odious repetitive androgyne down with him, that would be an excellent outcome.

Let's not get too joyous, based on the number of charges there could be more than a couple of victims.

It's good that hopefully justice will be done, but this isn't really good news.

It will be very interesting to learn the timeline of when, precisely, the various allegations came to light. He has been charged with two counts of very serious offences and nine of seemingly less serious ones.

Is the bit that I originally put in bold a subconscious way of saying "We'd have covered up the nine but two were just too serious to do the same with"? If those nine (or some of them) had come to the attention of others prior to the two attempted rape allegations then I think that statement is very telling of the mindset of those making it.

If he is guilty, then seeing him dealt with for his crimes will, generally, help his victims. If I was a victim, I would feel a little tiny bit better this afternoon than I did yesterday.

How many members of the SNP were aware of his alleged activities. When do we get to hear from his apprentice about her shock at these charges

Couldn’t get it up?

Rape requires penetration.

Indeed. Also how many in the Scottish parliament knew of it.

Fixed that, and yes, indeed, one wonders.
