What's the difference between Sexual Assault and Indecent Assault?
Historic? Indecent assault was the offence until the Sexual Offences Act 2003 replaced it with sexual assault. Maybe different in scotland thoughhttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_Offences_(S...

However, the hard fact remains that two complaints were received by the Scottish Government that could not be ignored or swept under the carpet".
Why the juddering fk would you include the words in bold? They are unnecessary, adding nothing to the sentence or paragraph and seem to suggest a subconscious unwritten suggestion of - "because we really, really tried as it's SOP for this type of thing but some tt leaked it before we could"
It does read like they would have covered it up if they could! However, the hard fact remains that two complaints were received by the Scottish Government that could not be ignored or swept under the carpet".

Cheered me up a bit
The arrest did cheer me up a bitThat he has been charged on so many counts of such seriousness has me grinning like a Cheshire cat in a manner that unlikely to dissipate for quite some time
It's good that hopefully justice will be done, but this isn't really good news.

Is the bit that I originally put in bold a subconscious way of saying "We'd have covered up the nine but two were just too serious to do the same with"? If those nine (or some of them) had come to the attention of others prior to the two attempted rape allegations then I think that statement is very telling of the mindset of those making it.

How many members of the SNP were aware of his alleged activities. When do we get to hear from his apprentice ventriloquist's dummy about her shock at these charges
Indeed. Also how many in the Scottish parliament knew of it. Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
