I'll be spoiling my vote: I don't want to vote for any of the parties, and seeing as Lord Sutch is no longer, I've no alternative other than show my protest that way.

I'm absolutely resolute in that if Lord Sutch were still alive, he'd probably be very close to winning something somewhere...
It might be worth considering the Jury team - an effort to get more independents into politics....

They also have a rather amusing attack on Jacqui Smith on their website....

Reminds me of an election I helped out at in the early 90s. At the end of the count, they have a pile of spoiled papers, which they show the candidates to confirm that they can be set aside.

One had 'fascist scum' scrawled across it.

In less than a blink, the Tory candidate had his hand in the air and was calling out "Hey, that's a vote for me".

Wouldn't have made much difference to his loss, as it turned out.

The constituency I live in will return a Labour MP regardless of whether he is a red arsed baboon or just vaguely illiterate. Unfortunately it means I'll be tactically voting to try and get the useless buggers out which means SNP, which is also a bugger as I have no desire to help promote there no 1 manifesto promise either. Or I can vote tory and try and help the poor sod keep the deposit. Either way it means my vote is not a vote for what I want, rather its a protest against what I will inevitably end up with as decided by the mouth breathing unemployed shell suited fkwits that seem to make up most of the population these days.
