One of many such responses no doubt.

(I'm assuming this is real - I lifted it from what appears to be an official Botswana govt. twitter account, but who knows these days...)

Were it real, you'd have to assume that they know how to spell the name of their own country.
Correct term for a person from the nation, I believe. It's also a fabulous country to visit, we went for a safari, it was probably the best week of my life; what a stunning place
And yet, for balance, if you try to do business in the country, and others which I I wont bother naming, you start to see that they are severely fked up places, politically, socially and economically.

It may seem nice on safari, but don't kid yourself that it is all like that. To live and work in some African nations is pretty fking desperate!!

But there is some amazing scenery.

That's what happens when you're dealing with vacuous goldfish mentalities.

They can flounce, de-flounce, re-flounce, re-de-flounce and finally just flounce again - haven forgotten that they've flounced in the first place - in the space of 5 minutes.
This must be the "debating" I keep hearing about.

More like a runaway train to my mind
I'd agree - you wouldn't want to be on one but if you are watching a train crash in progress it's very compelling

hehe

You're slacking - that's 26 minutes from re-flounce to re-de-flounce. You can do better than that.

You keep whining about wanting a debate on Trump, so let's have one - what's your opening proposition?

Trump Tweet:

Today, it was my great honor to proclaim January 15, 2018, as Martin Luther King Jr., Federal Holiday.

Fact:

On Nov. 3, 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed a bill marking the third Monday of every January, as Martin Luther King, Jr., day.

I mean..... hello???????

I've acclimatised to Trump. I have become desensitised. I'm not sure how anything he tweets now can come as amazing.
It's a bit like Star Wars for me,now I have detached myself from being a fan of whatever Disney churns out, I can view critically without emotion the goings on.

No one would have believed in the last years of the twentieth century that this president would be watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than his and yet as mortal as his own; that as he busied himself about his various concerns he was scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water.

A spot of disinfectant wouldn't go amiss.

Guy in the middle stares into the distance thinking "God in heaven, how did I let myself get tied up with this jerk?"

(And yes, I know who it us).

I haven't worked in Botswana but I have visited other African nations for work purposes; Angola, DRC, Nigeria and Cameroon

Some eye opening experiences to be sure; the most eye opening experiences (IMO, anyway) was the way in which the security forces that looked after us dealt with the locals, particularly in Cabinda, they treated them like st if they were considered an inconvenience (which was pretty much all of the time, because the militias were ruthless), they weren't even doing much, if anything wrong, apart from selling us bottles of Coke/Pepsi through the truck windows whilst we were sat in traffic jams, but still......

EDIT: I have a few stories to tell about British lads becoming enamoured with the local hookers too but that's a tale for another time I guess hehe

If some redneck republican decides the pussy grabber is not yet racist enough the so-called Christian in the middle could be the next president.

I don't doubt it, but we're not POTUS, and It'd be good if he was held to a higher standard than you or I, don'tcha think?

Apparently anyone who dares criticise the orange buffoon is a Hillary supporter...
