That article in no way contradicts the article in the Telegraph...https://commonspace.scot/articles/936/exclusive-sn...
The Telegraph states that he supports independence, yet wants Labour to win. It states that he's no longer doing any work for the SNP (another way of stating resign).
The Commonspace article also claims that he supports independence, and wants Labour to win outright. The only glimmer of hope for the SNP is that he also states he'd like Labour and the SNP cooperate informally. He also states that he'll still be working for independence when he can (note, not the SNP).
So, what exactly have I fallen for? Considering party subs are yearly, surely the important question is whether he'll renew his membership?

Scottish leaders' debate on STV later could be interesting....
On a seperate note, did anyone see Tony Blair's speech on Sky earlier today? He made some well considered and perfectly valid observations on the state Scotland could have been in today had independence gone ahead.

I'd rather tattoo my eyeballs with a rusty garden fork dipped in raw sewage

have you seen the scottish tory leader?Very highly respected on her views over all parties in Scotland and also rUK.
I'm assuming from your statement you believe she is anything but - sorry you are wrong.

If she and those like her were leading the independence movement i might of voted YES
I am not against independence
I am deeply against the free workers republic of salmondovia which the nationalists want
Watching this debate on STV.
Firstly Jim M is a shockingly bad/weak MP and to think he is leading the Scottish Labour Party! No wonder people are and have moved away from Labour.
Shockingly bad/ Id not seen him much before so didn't have a view one way or the other but my God what terrible candidates
It's no wonder why Nicola does so well - she can talk a good game and with weak opposition no wonder Salmond used to literally LOL at FMQs.

I watched most of the debate, having half my family up North of the border.
The SNP have got themselves into a great position where they can please themselves and just blame the boogey men down in Westminster for everything that's wrong in the world of the Scots.
What's worrying is if they're voted back in they'll continue to push for independence and wouldn't rule out another i.e. not once a generation referendum. No one called her on the fact that if her party had their way Scotland would be in deep do-do the way the oil prices have went recently-I heard Norway's currency has dropped 30% in value? That would have been interesting while trying to launch a new currency.....
I must admit sort of expected the SNP to decline over time, seems like the majority just don't believe or won't vote for the alternatives.

There seems to be a lack of awareness about business or wealth generation in Scotland. I'm currently watching Scotland today where whoever pledges the most spending seems to be judged "best".
As an example it's seen as great how the elderly want to see a much higher living wage AND the young want to see higher pensions - seen as a great thing for Scottish society all round that we all want more spent on everyone.
Realism seems to be severely lacking in all the parties here.

ETA:- If I was of a noisy and antisocial disposition I would probably share that on social media. I'm not likely to though.

Or more likely, business or wealth generation in Scotland wasn't the point of that debate and would not make compelling viewing for most people which is why it wasn't discussed last night. As an example it's seen as great how the elderly want to see a much higher living wage AND the young want to see higher pensions - seen as a great thing for Scottish society all round that we all want more spent on everyone.
