Democracy in action.
Shall we just keep having referendums then?
How often? You and others seem to want them every year or so by the look of it.
Shall we just stop having general elections then?

You and others seem to think that democracy is a one time thing by the look of it.
This is a brain-fart.

So let's say there's a second referendum next year and remain win,if us leavers kick up enough fuss, can we have another?
.
That's how you got the first one. Why change the habit of a lifetime?
Can you provide a link that clearly shows that people wanting to leave the EU were the reason behind the first referendum, rather than David Cameron promising a referendum to the electorate because of the divide amongst the Tory Party about the benefits of being in the EU?

The biggest Leaver fallacy of all is that if the referendum hadn't gone their way, they'd all have stopped the moaning they'd been doing for 40 years and get behind the EU and our continued membership to make a success of it laugh

No answer as usual, but the Duracell's are still going strong

If ever there was an advert for a longer lasting battery the nut certainly provides a testament laugh

Does it really matter where the nut is concerned?

He is both the best and worst, he's at his best when he's wired himself direct to the mains supply and worst when powered by Duracell.

I've no problem with another referendum at the appropriate time. The appropriate time would be years/decades after the result of the first one was implemented. I don't think anyone has said there should never be another referendum.

If Corbyn wins the next GE I won't be asking for a second a GE before he even forms a government. I will accept that the majority of the country want him in power, and we will have the chance to judge him on his performance in about half a decade.

I tend to find the morons are the ones who name call rather than answering the question. Because they have no answer, so just shout instead.

Go back to the original post.

Did it really merit an answer?

Not at all.

You'd need a general election to vote for a party that will offer you a second referendum. If you like them enough on balance, away you go.

You had that chance in 2017. Maybe a more credible party will offer up for 2022 and you will get your wish if enough people vote that way.

I wouldn't hold your breath. But it might happen.

You might like to look a bit closer at mx5nut's posting history. He just posts soundbite after soundbite, makings stupid generalisations and refuses to actually answer any questions. He has no intention of discussing anything.

As could you ignore posts that you don't like. You often choose not to, though.

Nail. Hit. Head.

There was no overwhelming desire (by the majority of the electorate) to leave the EU until January 2016 when the referendum date was set. In 2015, 99% of the MPs elected to Parliament stood on a party policy of remain. And 80%+ of the votes went for pro-remain parties.

Very different to the Scottish independence desire, where the pro-referendum, pro-leave party was already elected in government.
