Did any of you see that documentary program last night about Robert Maxwell? I was surprised to see they were related, I hadn't seen that in the papers.

Walrus is obviously not that well informed about many things.
Were you not aware of the name of the yacht from which he disappeared in 1991?
Nope. I generally don't read 30 year old news. Were you not aware of the name of the yacht from which he disappeared in 1991?

He was a tough businessman and the mantle was passed to his sons who were very good in their jobs
Although, of course, the sons knew absolutely nothing about what the supposedly lonesome crook was up to. Kevin went bankrupt to the tune of £400,000,000. I'm not sure that's the definition of success in business.Panamax said:

His wife said he was “harsh, cruel, uncompromising, dictatorial … [taking] a sadistic pleasure in crushing and humiliating” the people closest to him. Which some could explain why Ghislaine was attracted to Epstein.
Maxwell’s son Ian, who said he was “exhilarated to be free of this extraordinary alpha male presence in my life and at the same time incredibly scared as to what the future would look like without him.”
His death mocked at the end of tomorrow never dies...

The boat Mossad gave him swimming lessons from. Ghislaine is going to have to start to make some very quick decisions - as of the 28th April she’d have been incarcerated for a year, and in fairness to her I’m surprised she survived that long. She’s got two options - start squawking and comes out within the decade at a still relatively young sub 70 but with a very large target on her back, or stay quiet and die inside - probably sub 10 years also.

Surely her ‘squawking’ will just be her throwing stones with no actual evidence ? Didn’t the video tapes of it all go missing ?

The post was talking about the ship Robert Maxwell committed suicide on, not Ghislane.
And I was referring to the fact her trial is more or less current news, not 30 years old.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
