Why do you hate clean air?https://freebeacon.com/politics/yang-well-eliminat...

What problem?
Air pollution. The annual deaths from outdoor air pollution stat is hooey, the studies don't measure what levels of air pollution any 'prematurely deceased' person has been exposed to at any time, and when a person is supposed to die is known only to supreme beings plus those with working balls of crystal. Not me, and not you I suspect.

Also you must realise that Yang isn't focusing on cars for the reasons you allude to, the reason is the supposed evil of carbon dioxide, an essential trace gas underpinning the global food chain.
Outdoor air is no longer the political priority, indoor air is the priority, which given politicians' lack of knowledge and understanding is why they don't see it as a priority.
Beyond that see previous reply.

One stat you're unable to fully verify and suddenly all known research of how NOx affects human health goes out the window? Something tells me it's not the protestors with emotional vs evidential issues.

I know the question was not aimed at me..... but clean air is not the issue with 'climate change'.'Climate change' is the re-branding of Man Made Global Warming and that is purely about CO2 that is produced from humans activities.
I don't think a tiny contribution of human CO2 levels in the atmosphere over the recent decades makes it suddenly become "unclean air".
The clean air issue in the UK is more to do with the huge failings of the previous left wing government in Westminster. Despite many objections from the wider community Labour decided that it would be a good idea to promote the uptake of diseasal engines.

Yes, think what you want about CC, air pollution is a separate issue but with a similar solution. If making the air cleaner also has an effect on CC, which may or may not exist, well what's the problem? Not wanting to defend the left but subsequent governments haven't done a great deal since to resolve the problem, hence why a lot of people aren't happy.

Air pollution and CO2 levels are two separate entities. Not connected or related.
Not true. They are very connected. Both are by-products of energy production from burning fossil fuels. One harms human health, the other may or may not be affecting the climate.
So politicians (and you?) focus on outdoor air.

If not pre-industrial civilisation then what level of human CO2 production is acceptable for it to happily fit in with the crazy catastrophic predictions of the immediate future 10 years (or was it 12?), anyways its been more than 10 years since Al Gore's got it wildly wrong.

I'm not sure what's going on in your house but maybe open the windows once in a while?
Outdoor air pollution is still a problem.
No to the degree it used to be (in the UK at least) - you're probably too young to know of the killer fogs in London (those that actually killed people and not just some statistical possibility) . Outdoor air pollution is still a problem.

The only solution on the table for the left wingers seems to be to take current civilisation back to before the industrial revolution - as that is when the cherry picked date starts in order to portray a warming trend.

Why is this a left right thing? If not pre-industrial civilisation then what level of human CO2 production is acceptable for it to happily fit in with the crazy catastrophic predictions of the immediate future 10 years (or was it 12?), anyways its been more than 10 years since Al Gore's got it wildly wrong.
Pre industrial revolution is not a cherry picked date. It's the point we started releasing larger amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. Makes complete sense.

That has nothing to do with the fact burning fossil fuels produces CO2 as well as pollutants harmful to human health.

That image says nothing. Anything above 10ppm or 0.001% chlorine in a swimming pool and things are becoming unsafe. You'll be dead long before it reaches eve 0.1%. The same applies to the atmosphere.

Erm CO2 is "safe" for the planet at levels far in excess of what we have today (think Dinosaurs and mega-flora). Anything above 10ppm or 0.001% chlorine in a swimming pool and things are becoming unsafe. You'll be dead long before it reaches eve 0.1%. The same applies to the atmosphere.
