45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Vol 2

No, of course not. I am talking about the specific events of Saturday night and Trump's complete and utter inability to differentiate between the behaviour of the two groups that were involved. In his warped and sick view of the events (and maybe yours too), the girl who died was to blame for her own death.
That is morally reprehensible and if you really do think this way, you should feel deep shame.
He literally hasn't said that anywhere. Stop believing fake news and letting your own bias take over. That is morally reprehensible and if you really do think this way, you should feel deep shame.

The bold bit sums up nicely how I feel. Seems the world has well and truly gone to st.
I get the need to focus on the events here. It's awful what the did with his car and I feel for the girl's family and friends. However with the way it has been wherever Antifa show, it seemed a case of a matter of time until there was a death. The bloke cracked with the bike lock could easily have died. Antifa also allign themselves with BLM, a cop killing terrorist organisation.
Agreed the Nazis definitely need to be called bad, understatement of the century. But to many, the idea that someone is fighting bad must mean they are good. In the case of Antifa, this is categorically wrong and people need to wise up to this before the anarchists grow.
Why do we need to understand the political situation that leads to the growth in the far right but just dismiss antifas as anarchists?I get the need to focus on the events here. Nazis are indeed bad and they remain bad no matter whether other groups who also think they are bad are not particularly nice themselves.I don't like extremism of any sort.

Because Antifa are causing the rise in the extreme right.Dismiss Antifa as anarchists? That is literally what they are.
Antifa is anti-government and anti-capitalist, and their methodologies are often perceived as more closely aligned with anarchists than the mainstream left.

Thoughts can be implied from what a person says and the tone in which they say it. Thoughts can even be implied by what they FAIL to say. It is blindingly obvious what groups Trump is trying to keep on his side. And if you can't see that, then I really can't say much more.
When actual leaders of the KKK are interpreting the speeches as support and even George Bush is going steady on mate it's pretty obvious there is an issue Boydie88 said:

Amen to that. Just be very wary with who you align yourself to against a common enemy.
I'm not aligning with anyone. It's you who is grouping people together.I will always despise fascism and racism even if I might not agree with the tactics of others who hold a similar view.

You keep saying antifa, as if that was all that was going on. There were many protesters there that were nothing to do with antifa. Dismiss Antifa as anarchists? That is literally what they are.

No I don't. As I said, if it was just protesters out against Nazis, then yes, all the hate would be one way. Huge respect to that woman, it's what I'd like to think I'd be doing if I was there. Was this woman antifa?
Was the woman that was killed antifa?
I keep saying Antifa because they are the ones showing up anywhere even a slightly Conservative group is and where they go, violence follows. Both sides have their extremes. Both extremes are capable of and have done some pretty stupid st.
Work time, look forward to seeing where this thread has gone.
peace out
