To recap:

Barr says Berman is leaving

Berman says Barr doesn't have the authority to fire him and he's not leaving

Barr releases a letter saying he has asked the president to fire Berman and the president has done so

The president says he's not involved and it's up to Barr - and there's video of this
https://twitter.com/i/status/1274437618726506497
It's breathtakingly open corruption. Proper failed state stuff, the kind of thing we'd mock a Zimbabwe for doing.

Oh wow. For someone who touts biggest crowd ever! It's alright though they made up other numbers to compensate

Haven't got my calculator to hand but that's about two thirds of one percent, hardly 'reaching the American people', and that's before correcting the numbers to take account of Murtagh's guaranteed exaggeration.
There are also democrats who got tickets just to stop others going, one 16 year old on twitter had 24

The event was first come first served. So his supporters didn’t turn up. Nothing to do with tickets.

There is no trump train any more. Only support he has now are the mental proper racists it seems.

It's actually got to the point of being quite sad to see him now, the decline is so pronounced. Last night was seeing an old man failing mentally and physically in front of his dwindling cretinous supporters.

That's a red herring. They were handing out limitless numbers of tickets, and only 6000 people turned up.

(OTOH, of the million (claimed) tickets 994,000 went to democrats...)

Yep, there is no need.

Trump has already stopped the Trump train. Trump is the bigliest vote winner the democrats could ask for. I don't think much of Biden, but as long as he can stand up straight, no slur his words and drink a glass of water he's a shoe in.

When Trump fans are needing to resort to laughable conspiracy theories to explain why he's not a failure, you've already lost. The only "liberal plot" against Trump is called Operation Let Him Speak.

So Berman, was was he investigating about Guliani that Barr had to quickly shut down that investigation? There's testimony to the house next week. Berman should be included

The president has doubled down on his fixer’s obstruction of investigations into him and his allies. It is clear that nothing will restrain his corruption.

No one is above the law. The American people will have their say.

Mr. Berman was appointed by U.S. District Court Judges. The Attorney General does not have the authority to expel him. It is clear that the law still means nothing to this president or his new fixer, William Barr.

Remember trump said yesterday he knew nothing about it... playing the deny everything game again

From here:
https://publicpool.kinja.com/subject-remarks-by-pr...
If my reading is correct, only the President can sack Berman, based on a 1979 legal opinion. However, it is a little more murky as his confirmation of appointment was court appointed, which makes it less clear.

One thing is clear, the Attorney General cannot fire a court appointed Attorney. so Barr, is clearly ultra vires.

I've read a few reports, but a really good article on it here...

The fawning from idiots is important to trump, so last night will have stung him.

To be fair it was probably a long day and he's in his 70's.

In relation to the Tulsa rally his mental self-image will have portrayed a completely different picture so it won't necessarily have upset him.

The train driven by an old deluded lunatic with an orange coloured face that stops 10mm short of his hair line, neck, eyes and ears.

That won't stop the Trump train
No-one reserving tickets stopped Trump fans from coming. They released hundreds of thousands of tickets and it was first come first served, which is why quite a few numpties have been queueing outside the venue since Friday.

The reality is that only half an audience actually turned up.

I did like "Tik Tok Teens Tank Trump's Tulsa Turnout", though biggrin

Agreed but remember he is a rampant narcissist. Projecting a dominating and authoritative image at all times is rule one in his mental check list. I'm not sure if its wishful thinking or not but that looks to me like a man who knows the jig is up.
