Well, you can watch people going round and round in circles, making lots of noise, but eventually ending up where they started.....or.....

The current crop of democrats are just as right wing as the GOP.

We have analysed speeches, manifestos and, crucially, voting records in the compilation of this chart. As the campaign proceeds, the chart will be amended to reflect policy changes and other relevant developments.

Check out Biden/Harris. Both solidly AuthRight.

So clearly we do not believe that right wing politicians are more criminal.

Republicans? Yep, seems self evident at this point.

More analysis

Thought I'd add a little bit of light relief, unless it's been posted before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lj16nGlXr0&t=...

Off topic, but I'll also recommend a couple of his other videos; Dave Brubeck - Golden Brown and Gnarls Barclay Spaghetti Western. No association with him just something I've stumbled across.
biggrin That's great. I knew the Golden Brown video, that guy is really talented.

I can see him walking out. I doubt he will not attend as it is a platform. He'll say it's the media generating fake news and turn around with his chin, if not his head, stuck up in the air. He will not take kindly to a mute button. It'll give Biden a problem. If he stays on and speaks, then doesn't that mean that Trump will have equal time on the air unhindered by an oponent?

He will say he won on principles, that the media are all against him, that his two minutes were worth 50 of anyone else's and similar ephemera.

I can't see the point of staying up until 2 am BST just to experience Bat Sh*t Time. If I want to be terminally depressed, I'll look in the mirror when naked.

I'll watch the F1 GP on Sunday. Much less predictable.
I've said previously, I think if I was team Biden I'd be aware that trump says he's stumble, so stick to a minute or so bullet points on what he'd do on each topic, then throw it back. No stumbles, and give trump more time to hang himself.

Plus loving the new unpredictability of the f1 GP circuits. this weekends looks great but have to see FP1 to see

Thanks for posting. Why is almost everyone Authright? Who decides where the origin of the chart lies?

Maybe because they are?

The link to the source and methodologies is right there in my post.

You could certainly make the argument that the Democrats have moved more authoritarian and more right as a result of Trump, but overall American politics is more right leaning than ours.

The democrats are very much “one nation tories” in that regard.

trump says he's going to release his version of the 60 minutes interview,

“I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted “takeout” interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes. Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and ‘magnificently brilliant’ answers to their ‘Q’s’.”

The tweet came after CBS News released the first clips from the segment, along with one from an interview with Vice President Joe Biden.

This goes against what 60minutes agreed with trump.

...

and he's started
Donald Trump posted what he said was footage from his interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl.

The president wrote on Twitter, “Look at the bias, hatred and rudeness on behalf of 60 Minutes and CBS. Tonight’s anchor, Kristen Welker, is far worse! #MAGA.”

He linked to footage posted to his Facebook page.

Trump sat down with Stahl on Tuesday before bailing on the rest of the segment. The White House recorded the interview, but told CBS that it would only be for archival purposes.

The video starts with Stahl asking Trump, “Are you ready for some tough questions?”

i thought The 2 minute mute is just for the replies to the mods initial questions, so that the 2 minutes can be filled by the response without interruption. The end of the debate is to be open, no mute.

So the moderator will need to moderate

- shock.

The start of the '60 Minutes' interview Trump posted:

Stahl: "Last time, I remember you saying to me, 'bring it on, bring it on.'"
Trump: "No, I'm not looking for that."
...
Stahl: "You're going to get fairness. But you're OK with some tough questions?"
Trump: "No, I'm not."

In the '60 Minutes' interview Trump posted, Stahl presses Trump multiple times on whether he thinks masks work, he attacks Dr. Fauci a lot and then eventually admits: "I feel masks possibly work." He then defends his mostly maskless rallies.

Stahl asks Trump about the health care plan he has never released. He says he has one, but won't release it yet. He then changes: "We will come up with a plan." He then changes again: "We have large sections of it already done."

Trump says he hopes the Supreme Court ends the Affordable Care Act.
Edit: I guess then he can blame them even though it's him pushing it with no alternative

Why are you saying that I wrote both parties or both candidates are the same? I didn’t, I’ve written on numerous occasions that Trump is not someone I would support. I dislike him. Biden is far superior, not that that is much of a challenge.

Jobs going offshore went up under trump.

He said he was going to stop that. Those huge tax cuts didn't stop it.

He's a compulsive liar, yet every one uttered is spectacularly one dimensional & utterly transparent. He lies every time he opens his gaping maw, so often even he can't keep up with the lies. It really is quite incredible.

The answers to those opening questions really are spectacularly spineless. As a lifelong "businessman", surely the buck stopping at the top should at least be a phrase he's aware of? But no, in the midst of a nationwide health & economic disaster, no tough questions. The level of fragility & cowardice is astounding.

Still spouting bks.
The belief that one side of politics Is inherently inferior to the other side is what gets people like Trump in power.

Maybe you should have a quiet moment to consider that.
For someone who seems to have a lot of opinions on it you clearly don't know much about our politics.

Yep, I’m fairly ignorant on US politics. Some aspects of it are universal though...

I also can’t pin any scandals on Trump. Clearly nobody can as he unfortunately still hasn’t lost his presidency.
Trump scandals you say? From the 2019 Muller investigation, lots more since then:

Has he been charged/arrested? Has he actually had anything pinned on him?
They spent weeks digging up bodies in Fred West's garden. Once the digging was over? Well, we know what happened.
