Fulton County DA Fani Willis is now formally empaneling a special grand jury to speed up her criminal case against Donald Trump for election fraud in Georgia. This means it speeds up prosecutions, allows it to issue subpoenas etc...

Her letter is here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/67n8oyp0zgedb4g/2022EX00...

Apart from all the other fraudulent efforts and phone calls, we've already heard the phone call how trump called Raffensperge asking him to 'find' one more vote than Biden won by. "All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state,"

https://www.npr.org/2022/01/20/1074417449/district...

In response to the news, trump claimed his phone call was perfect, even more so that the one to Ukrainian President - nope he really said that!
“My phone call to the Secretary of State of Georgia was perfect, perhaps even more so than my call with the Ukrainian President, if that’s possible.”

The supreme court ruling against trump executive privilege claim over hiding Archived docs has had an effect on other witnesses trying the same.

After the trump insurrection investigation obtained the financial records of Taylor Budowich to try to follow the money trail, Budowich filed suit to try to force the committee to give the financial records back.

The judge in that case ruled against Budowich and in favor of the committee, citing the Supreme Court’s ruling in his decision.
https://www.politico.com/minutes/congress/01-20-20...

That judge just set the precedent that the Supreme Court’s ruling against Trump’s privilege claim also applies to his underlings, so their hopes of dragging it out for a long time in court is now ruined.

Ivanka Trump has released a statement after the trump insurrection investigation asked her for testimony

Ivanka Trump just learned that the January 6 Committee issued a public letter asking her to appear. As the Committee already knows, Ivanka did not speak at the January 6 rally. As she publicly stated that day at 3:15pm, ‘any security breach or disrespect to our law enforcement is unacceptable. The violence must stop immediately. Please be peaceful.'

Thats it. It doesn’t address any of the matters that the committee raised in its letter to he, doesn't address whether she intends to cooperate or not.
It's just trying to claim she had nothing to do with it, but the committee’s letter merely spells out why she’s a material witness to her father’s actions and asked for her testimony.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/...
However, many people are now asking where was Kushner and his movements are being sort.

This after earlier this week the New York AG revealed in a civil probe court filing that she has “significant evidence” Ivanka falsified asset values for insurance, loan and tax purposes.

Forbes is now reporting that a judge forced the Trump Organization to hire an outside firm, at its own expense, to oversee its own compliance with the New York Attorney General’s subpoenas. So thats a court-mandated compliance firm in place to force the Trump family to cooperate.

trumps claim that Pelosi blocked his request for 10,000 national guard to the capitol has been debunked several times but he keeps pushing it.
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/...

Now the trump insurrection investigation has revealed that Donald Trump made zero calls for the national guard, and made zero attempts to contact the DOJ, or Law Enforcement on 6 Jan for deployment. The evidence reveals he did nothing to stop the violence that day.

Interesting interview with former Trump Homeland Security adviser Olivia Troye reacting to the new documents released by the trump insurrection investigation revealing that Fox News host Sean Hannity privately told then-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany that Trump could be impeached over the insurrection, had to stop lying about the election, and needed to be kept away from "crazy people."

Hannity knew the trump organised mamagob violence was another impeachment just waiting to happen

Racist Barbie Lauren Boebart insulted a group of Jewish Americans in the Capitol for a meeting with Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY) when they encountered Boebert as she was stepping out of an elevator.

When the doors opened, Boebert stepped out of the elevator and looked the group of visitors from head to toe, as many members of the group were wearing yarmulkes'. Boebert then asked if they were there to conduct 'reconnaissance.'
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/kadiagoba/lau...

Remember it was claimed she had conducted tours before 6 Jan, and we know the maga militia had insider knowledge of layout, weak security areas etc.

She did: “I know that Republicans have thousands of documents to go through,” she said. “But, if I were them, I’d take a close look at Trump’s e-mails.”

“My memory of congressional Republicans is that they are very diligent investigators who leave no stone unturned,” she said. “I’m sure they’ve been spending every waking hour trying to get their hands on Donald Trump’s e-mails. They must be so excited to finally have them.”

No, but I think he'll escape jail but he'll face asset capture and be totally bankrupted over his many frauds. Just look at how much they seized from Mannafort.

Meanwhile, The trump insurrection investigation has now received more than 700 pages of Trump documents from the National Archives.

They received at least four notable items from the Trump White House document production: two drafts of tweets Trump ultimately sent on Jan. 5, a legal memo, and a note that was handwritten on White House stationery.
https://www.politico.com/minutes/congress/01-20-20...

among the records that Trump's lawyers tried to hide from investigator are a draft executive order that would have directed the defense secretary to seize voting machines.

The order empowered the defense secretary to "seize, collect, retain and analyze all machines, equipment, electronically stored information, and material records required for retention under" a U.S. law that relates to preservation of election records.

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/01/21/read-the-...

Edit: Here is the order prepared for Donald Trump's signature in December 2020 that would have directed the Secretary of Defense to utilize the National Guard to seize voting machines and information- just published by @woodruffbets.

Giuliani associate Igor Fruman has been sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison for campaign fraud, which makes him eligible for the good time credit that takes off 54 days.

Fruman helped Giuliani manufacture faked evidence against Biden

Giuliani in in deep trouble...

After much delay, the Special Master reviewing Rudy Giuliani’s phones, Barbara Jones, has released an update...

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscour...

in which it shows that she released a bunch of materials to DOJ on 19 Jan, including

The balance of 25,629 chats and messages that post-date January 1 from one of Rudy’s cell phones

From that same phone, 56 chats and messages that Rudy had initially claimed privilege over but for which he either withdrew or chose not challenge Jones’ designation that they were not privileged

3,204 chats and messages from between December 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019 from Rudy’s other devices, none of which he said were privileged (there should be eight devices; FBI seized 16 devices total)

These releases are in addition to 2,223 items from seven phones reviewed last year.

Last dates are interesting. Giuliani's proffer of a pardon to Cohen from trump would have fallen into that date range, his obstruction of Mueller, anyone thionk of anything else?

Ah they are investigating Giulianis part in trumps Ukraine scandal, where they tried to manufacture dirt against Biden and his son Hunter, that carried on with the manufactured 'laptop hard drive'.

Giuliani's communications have been turned over to the Manhattan U.S. attorney's office, which has been investigating his dealings in Ukraine while he was representing Trump.

trumps attorney had her time on Fox to claim that trump did nothing wrong because the banks carried out their due diligence so were responsible, not trump

https://twitter.com/i/status/1484720007590277120

Stupidly she actually brings up one of the main asking points. Why did Deutsche Bank completely look the other way just for trump and continue to lend hundreds of million of dollars when no one else would.

Remembering of course that Deutsche Bank has been fined several times for money laundering, for very questionable practices, deals/dealt with lots of Russian money...
