When?
The BBC understands that the changes in the guidelines will mean two friends would be able to sit more than two metres apart in a park, and also that sports like golf, tennis, fishing and outdoor watersports will now be possible for people in the same household.God help us.
I would like some clarification on this sports thing that Boris casually alluded to but didn't provide any detail on.
Unfortunately, unless the legislation itself is amended, we might still see over-zealous police continue to enforce as they see fit.

About £75 quid a week after 2 weeks I think.
If you have no savings?I'd be better off spunking it all on a flash car so i have only £6K in the bank, then selling that post the period of unemployment. Rules are so unfair to those who actually take care of themselves and put money aside for a rainy day.

Wasn’t the advice always go to work if you can’t work from home?
Shops and hospitality are still closed so I dont get what’s changed at all.
Nothing has changed, it was clearly a kick up the arse for those that should never have closed.Shops and hospitality are still closed so I dont get what’s changed at all.
It won’t get back to normal levels anytime soon but I am confident we will ride this out. Construction firms have been coming back over the past few weeks as well which has helped.
It’s not all doom and gloom, just a different way of working.
I guess the childcare question is a genuine one for some.
One lady. Who is my neighbour, needed a bit of reassurance but she is a worrier. She hasn’t left her house in 8 weeks! Luckily the husband is very level headed and have put her mind at rest.
In general they want to work and we can make it safe to do so. All of us are sensible people so the risk is very low...thankfully.

The Welsh government have called out Boris for removing the Stay at Home message. They have said that their message remains very much "Stay at Home"** and Boris is risking lives.

Hypocrites.
What if you live in wales but work in England ** But fill your boots at the garden centre.
Hypocrites.

The United Kingdom is no longer united.
England goes its own way while Scotland, Wales and N.I. stay resolutely locked down with no changes to the stay at home message.
This will prove interesting if you live or work near the border or even if you want to visit from England.
That is not actually the case though is it? England goes its own way while Scotland, Wales and N.I. stay resolutely locked down with no changes to the stay at home message.

New style’ JSA
To be eligible for ‘new style’ JSA you’ll need to have worked as an employee and paid Class 1 National Insurance contributions, usually in the last 2 to 3 years. National Insurance credits can also count.
You will not be eligible if you were self-employed and only paid Class 2 National Insurance contributions, unless you were working as a share fisherman or a volunteer development worker.
You’ll also need to:
be 18 or over
be under the State Pension age
not be in full-time education
not be working at the moment, or be working less than 16 hours per week on average
not have an illness or disability which stops you from working
live in England, Scotland or Wales
have the right to work in the UK
Your partner’s income and savings will not affect your claim.
You can get ‘new style’ JSA for up to 182 days (about 6 months). After this you can talk to your work coach about your options.

Assuming you have paid NI as per guidelines then savings are not taken into account.

Thanks for the info. When CV19 kicked off i used the online universal credit checker and i wouldnt get a penny, it didn't tell me to look at JSA as an option.New style’ JSA

I'll have to see whether MDL are going to allow access to marinas as we haven't been allowed access to our boats since lockdown. If not, it's going to be freshwater for me - I think it's only common sense anyway - going fishing on your own is hardly a high risk activity.

It's not all Angry Karens. You'll have people in vulnerable groups who have kids, and people in extended households, in which case it's understandable that they'll be concerned about sending them back.
In that case can My kid have their kids space then so I can go back to work?Seems like it was just about point scoring against your ex then. Terribly sad, for your kid.
