Can you point me to your comments on the losses of life in Yemen and elsewhere? They don't have to be in the Israeli/Gaza thread, but I assume you've made your concerns about this other loss of life very clear elsewhere?
Repeating the same irrelevant nonsense.. over and over again. It doesn't get the result you hope for.

The deaths in Gaza are not justified. Commenting on this does not require comments on other conflicts.

It very much gets me the results I am looking for because it highlights your hypocrisy and points very clearly to your true motives. You claim to be concerned about unjustified deaths. Why only comment on the Palestinian deaths? Are the deaths in Yemen and elsewhere “justified” ? People can draw their own conclusions as to why you’re so selective about what you choose to comment on.

Yes, it does - because if you say X is not justified then it would apply to ALL conflicts, not just ones where Israel are involved.

My assertion is that the deaths are justified because a) it is a war (which Hamas who govern Gaza started) and civilians unfortunately get killed along with Hamas fighters b) Israel has taken steps to minimise civilian casualties i.e. dropping leaflets, warnings through text messages etc. c) the ratios are acceptable compared to other urban battles e.g. 10,000 civilians died in Mosul alongside about 4,000 ISIS members.

Two things jumped out for me from the article:

_ Spain PM says "Hamas is not the Palastinain people"

- Bassem Naim, a senior Hamas figure, said the "brave resistance" of the Palestinian people was behind the move.

So, where are the Palastinain people on this all? Frankly I don't see how anyone can tell, or even ask them.

What they can do of course is put words in their mouth (and I'm talking about both sides here)
They voted for Hamas.

They still support Hamas.

They celebrated the Oct 7 attacks and cheer when the bodies of Jews are paraded in the streets.

Obviously not as a monolithic block but it's enough...

Mosab Hassan Youseff (the son of co-founder of Hamas) not shewing his words when it comes to Palestinians and their ideology...

I find it disturbing that children build such hatred from an early age. No chance of peace....

What is an isn't acceptable depends on who is doing it to who and your political views for me you cannot vote in a religious death cult allow it to invade another country kill nearly 2000 people men, women and children and expect any mercy in return.

Iran runs Gaza regardless and until they are dealt with it will never end.

Of you three statements above.

1. Is wrong.

2. Is impossible to know.

3. True but when Hamas gunmen tell you to celebrate and cheer you do it.

You wouldn't want to be any of those female Israeli soldiers captured on the 7th that are featured on Sky News.

All 18 and 19. Assume they're dead now but that must have been a grim end.

Dead or not, we don't know but it did not look good for them when they met at first. I doubt it got better...

Incredible that the Hamas terrorists had no idea when the IDF would arrive on site yet they still got on with raping innocent women. Horrific.

Must say that the first video looks pretty tame from the video only. I cannot comment on the audio - I don't speak Arabic. Looks like the hostages are kept somewhere and then taken elsewhere. Not being pushed around as such.

Have you seen videos of heavily armed IDF soldiers battering little kids with their rifles? Let me know if you haven't, I can send some.

Oh look, another member of the "if" brigade shows up. Pure filth. Testimony after testimony as to the brutality and rapes and mutilations and other things that happened on the 7th but apparently you want to see the pictures of the raped women and their bleeding vaginas and anus before you'll believe that your beloved Hamas could have done such a thing.
Have a word with yourself eh?

And no, for the record, that doesn't mean that the IDF is above reproach or should not be held accountable for whatever crimes it has committed.

I am condemning them. I just find it incredible that these Hamas terrorists had rape as a priority at that particular time. Not suggesting it didn't happen if there's reliable evidence to suggest that it did.

The stories were that they were raping the women and then shooting them in the head as they climaxed.

Not sure it compares TBH.

He question the treatment of those women as he doesn't think that there are enough proof but stick an article which mention the bad treatment of Palestinians from unknown sources....
