I've trapped 40+ greys in my garden in under 2 years (that's squirrels not aliens).
Some of them are heavier than a chicken and I'd be scared to have a 1 on 1 fight.
I'm not prepared to eat a rat with a bushy tail though, not whilst there's food in the shops.
What that knob of the first order fails to realise is that us country types don't need to eat tree rat. We have fields of fluffy tasty bunnies to start on first. Hey, some even eat them already even though there is food in the shops...Some of them are heavier than a chicken and I'd be scared to have a 1 on 1 fight.

Squirrel is pretty decent eating
They are a bugger to skin though. Helps if you paunch then and cut legs and head off before skinning
What I can't work out is - if Monbiot wants us all to stop driving, where are we going to get our ethical road killed meat from?
We could simply hunt the hippies who took our cars away. Ok they might be the meat equivalent of a hash brownie, but with nothing to drive there's no worry They are a bugger to skin though. Helps if you paunch then and cut legs and head off before skinning

The important question is which one has a real brain: Moonbat or the squirrel?
