Walking through fields with my dogs today and came across a weird object on the ground - took me a while and a bit of moving about with my foot before eventually realising it was a cat's head severed at the neck..fully fleshed (has been cold frosty lately) but no fur!...not sure why I have even posted about it on here but I am a tad bemused / intrigued.

Well, I'd say it's been shaved by small, creatures, rats, mice etc. Where the rest of the body rests will be a mystery.

How do you know it was a cat or is there a collar?

Was fully fleshed, skin etc and too perfect, almost looked fresh - it had all it's teeth....once I had turned it up the right way I realised what it was. Will take a pic if its still there tomorrow.

Almost certain it was a cat.....needle teeth and short muzzle..........I see a buzzard regularly in this area very often but other than no fur the head was almost in tact and not gnawed etc

Unfortunately true. These dangerous and utterly vile people 'celebrate' 7th Jan with animal sacrifice and dismemberment.

You have been reading too many made up ritual calendars. The ones that say January the 7th is St. Winebald's day and celebrated by Satanists. FYI The feast day of St. Winebald is actually December the 18th.

Some of the twisted bds 'celebrate' that date in the manner I've described.

Their vile pseudo 'religion' should be made illegal - very dangerous, sick and perverted people whose beliefs are totally repugnant.

Where are you?

There's a Cat killer that is travelling the country, having started in Croydon that decapitates cats (& worse)

I was just thinking the same. I would be really suspicious about something like this.

I didn't know it was travelling, I knew about Croydon.

I hope they find it and publish it's name and address.

It was still there this morning, took a few pics but not sure I should post them on here, as I said in my original post, I am not sure even why I posted about it.

Many thanks....I have just sent them an email with a couple of the pics but reluctant to get more involved if I'm honest.
