If it helps anyone out, super cheap solution via the Bay.

Search eBay for - Aston Martin replacement remote buttons - I have no connection with seller, just a customer

The 3D printed ones for £20? Look good on the pics, how easy are they to swap in?

That's the ones. No connection with seller, just did my tired buttons. 2 minute job

Thanks, will order, as it does my head in on the spare key. I have thought about Phoenix refurbing it, but then was close to £200 iirc

There's a Christmas present for my Dad, he's been moaning about them recently and also moaning about the risk of dropping the glass key.

Did you have to take to the fob with a knife because I have just gone to fit mine and the keypad is all one piece and the buttons actually look too small for the aperture so are likely to fall out?

They do fit, at least for my 2009 v8v. Mine had a couple of dividing struts though which some don’t, so maybe there are slight differences. I was loathe to cut the struts but no other way to fit them in, so in the end I went for it. For the rubbers, although they can be very snug, they do push out, then snip the retaining edge [url]

I just looked for this thread for instructions as mine have arrived. I'll give it a go this week.

My Aston is a 2012.5 V12 Vantage. The buttons on the plastic remote had collapsed. I ordered the buttons from the eBay seller. My experience was just like the one posted above with the center divider. Once the divider was removed the buttons fit perfectly. Very happy with the result.

Easy peasy, just push out and pop the new ones in.
