Wonder what the turnout will be, and the result. Personally I think they should chuck the lot of them in the estuary.

Most I've spoken to voted no as well. I think people oop north are worried the Cardiff population will vote in favour.

The BBC reported last night was that it was about 30% with some saying it's even lower than that.

30% turnout?, if so its sad to think people care so little about how our country may be ran.
I know some people are saying that they didn't have enough information but you shouldn't have to be spoon fed everything a little research can help you alot, I think the majority of people are just too lazy to care.

wavey Howdy Taffs!

Another NO here, the Senydd can hardly handle the role they are tasked with at present, the possibility of increasing their potential to meddle without check is scary.

It's going to be a yes, but i voted no as i just dont think Wales is anywhere near ready for this. The turnout is going to be awful as well (most people i spoke to couldn't be bothered to vote). Is there a minimum turnout that is required for a vote to succeed?

Exactly. The amount of unemployment in the valleys is staggering, some of it is the armpit of society it really is. My mrs is a community nurse and see lots of people stockpiling drugs from the free prescriptions when they don't even need them - they often get thrown as they go out of date. Staggering waste of money.

Gas and air shop down the bay is full of pompous self important knuckle dragging inbred wazzocks. The last referendum was through on around a 1/4 of the population say so, this looks like being less and the yes peeps will swan around thinking they are kings of the universe and the three that voted for them are really 3 million.

Take off and nuke the sennedd from orbit....

SB this is a referendum, it's the Welsh public voting, not MP's or AM's.

It would appear the yes vote have won. Cobblers. Listening to the radio this morning it would appear many students voted, 2.1 billion bribe worked then (if I read that report right). Insert bitter n twisted smily here.
For those not from around here the No campaign refused funding for publicity (not clear here??) this meant that neither the yes or no side could mount publicity including mail drops and TV debates etc. Bet many were not fully aware of it.

So the first thing they are going to do is revoke that old law about Englishmen being able to shoot Welshmen with a bow and arrow from the walls of a castle on Sundays?

I voted Yes as it seems did the rest of those who bothered to vote. Very suprised it was such a Yes vote some were expecting solid No votes, seems the Welsh dont trust the English to make decisions for us.
