Shocking gararge.

One mother, from Manchester, who wished to remain anonymous, claims the director of the garage threatened to rape her when she telephoned to get her daughter's car back.
You see, no one gives a fk about business fraud these days, which is a shame because - as teh Sky video explains - companies based at this address (presumably run by the same shysters) have racked up tens of thousands of pounds of unpaid CCJs.
It's like the broekn window syndrome; let crooked directors get away with one thing and it easily leads to another.
I feel sorry for the members of the public being scammed but feel equally sorry for the (largely unsung) legions of businesses also shafted. Can you imagine a small firm or sole trader asking those bds for payment?

We see cars butchered all the time by Cowboys in our industry and still we hear "oh so and so" is "X" Cheaper than you etc, people will risk even the most expensive cars to save fifty quid! You get what you pay for in most industry's but especially Automotive.
Surely the point of the article is that you don't get what you pay for - and in my experience paying more for repairs never delivers better workmanship. Personal recommendation and internet based research is about as good as you can get when seeking a garage. If all other factors appear equal then of course the quoted price is a simple way to choose.
he needs all the publicity he can get...

Though presumably not anonymous enough to have a picture of her in the article? Unless it's been mis-captioned.oldcynic said:

Which comes back to my point regarding these 'sorts' of companies and directors. The low-level fraud thing, the whole phoenix company merrygoround is a breeding pool for this sort of scum. For every excusable and genuine company failure (and also resurrection) there are countless dubious or downright fraudulent ones.
The symptopm is sensational stories like the one we have here, but the root cause is something that none of the authorities seems keen to pursue.
