Sad to hear this...he was one of the greatest of all time, a true superstar boxer and personality.

When he used to fight it was a world event...amazing man, he will be missed by a lot of people.

Foreman was genuinely terrifying in his early professional days. He destroyed Frazier and Norton. When he lost to Ali in Zaire in '74, he went into a deep depression. It's quite remarkable that he came to become the lovable, friendly teddy bear character later on. Of course, he could still have taken your head off with one punch.

A genuinely great person. Watched the Netflix film a few weeks ago, well worth a watch.

RIP George.
He was one of the great Heavyweights. I doubt any recent fighters would have had any chance against him in his prime.

Only just seen thius news.
Very sad. 76 is no age really.

I was an Ali fan but later grew to really appreciate George as the great man he was.
RIP.
