The so-called Red Wall is looking to be good hunting ground for Reform.

And in a classic TB way, you are rigging the voting, as there is no option for losing seats.

For clarity, I fully expect them to gain seats, but jeez, come on, you’re always the one who complains about rigged stats etc.

I’d say about 150 at a guess. I won’t like it, but hey, that’s democracy!

What’s the ‘other aspects’ mentioned in the title?

Lib dems will gain the most. They often do well when the other parties are performing badly, but only during a local election.

Reform are polling well and turnout at local elections tend to be highest in age groups where Reform are strongest. They also have very few seats to defend. Without looking at predictions in the papers I went with 500+

The other aspects seems to have gone missing, unless he is flogging off his old Thatcher/Tory party memorabilia now he is a Reform shill?

"Could the local elections reshape British politics?"

"Can Reform UK turn votes into seats - and from there into power? How far do the Tories have to fall? How unpopular is Labour now that it's in government?"

Care to put your neck in the noose turbs, and suggest what number Reform "should" get?

Reform are the only major party in the UK who have publicly denied that the current change in the earth's climate is being caused by human activity. Of course Turbobloke is all in on them.

Do you have some sort of role in promoting Reform?

One, don't be silly. Two, Labour are doing that job very well already. Three, playing the man not the ball yet again, your trademark.

Now you can ask the other formulaic vexatious leading question "why should anybody vote for Reform" it's at least a couple of hours since the last time somebody asked one way or another.

Are people actually going to vote Reform? They’re not really a party, just some mouth on stick idiots who were too daft for the conservatives? I thought everyone knew that?

My wife used to have to deal with some councillors from one of the previous incarnations of Refuk.

Impressive, they were not.

I think they'll do well in the locals. Protest votes and old people is basically the local election demographic.

My trademark? If anyone here has condescending and patronising fellow PHers down to an art form it's you.

When you've spent years here making a massive walloping bk of yourself, you can't complain when your spherical persona gives folk the impression that you are the ball, and give it a good kicking as a result.
