Both of them did apparently

The shooter is still on the run and it seems anti Trump paraphernalia has been found in his abandoned car

The crazies are saying that because Boelter was appointed by Walz to the "Governor's Workforce Development Board" then he must be a "Dem". However it was a nonpartisan panel, so all it means is that he had some business/professional standing in the state.

He was appointed by the previous Governor, Walz simply rubber-stamped the renewal approval, and there were around 50 (if reports are accurate) people on that board, it sounds non-partizan.

So far, it seems he was a religious nut, or normal for a US evangelical; hated homosexuality, abortion, the usual stuff that some of them believe their religion should get to tell you what to do.

It's far more common that type is republican, but nothing is confirmed. I also read an unverified report he donated to trump, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Vance Boelter, the man suspected of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband and wounding another lawmaker and his wife, texted his roommate that he “may be dead shortly” on Saturday morning after the attack.

His roommate, David Carlson, cried while reading the text message aloud to reporters on Saturday afternoon.

“David and Ron, I love you guys. I made some choices, and you guys don’t know anything about this, but I’m going to be gone for a while. May be dead shortly,” Boelter reportedly texted Carlson and another friend.

Law enforcement found a manifesto that named several other

An official who has seen the suspect’s hit list tells The Independent that it targets prominent abortion rights activists, including many outspoken.

Carlson said Boelter strongly opposed abortion and recently experienced mental health challenges.

A mental health epidemic, deeply polarised politics, and ridiculously easy access to guns.

What could possibly go wrong frown

Shooter was an evangelical Christian and staunch conservative, particularly on subjects like abortion.

Credit should go to Mortarboard for the link.

I wouldn't be surprised to find he belonged to one of the "god hates" churches.

Expect more of this as Trump and maga have awakened this as being the right course of action by some in the anti abortion .movement in the states.

My guess is that he expected to continue through his list until he was caught/stopped, but fled to some remote place after the second attack and his body will be found at some point.

Nonsense, she was just taking her AR-15 for a nice drive. Nothing suspect about that at all hehe

Nor the cash and passports.

Probably fleeing to Canada, or perhaps they have a holiday home/cabin? I could imagine they might fear reprisals, but any vaguely sane person would understand the police would absolutely want to question them at length, and the police would be able to monitor threats and organise to house them somewhere safe.

Nor me.. Though he'd end up dead in a shoot-out or take his own life....

Probably will end up dead after the lawmakers have finished with him..!

Hoping this doesn't start a trend, but this is the USA, so wouldn't surprise me if there are copycat attacks in the future frown

Unlikely. Minnesota doesn't have the death penalty so it would have to be a federal charge. Even in that case, they take so long that he will be into his 80s by the time they get around to doing it. Realistically, any sentence would be de facto whole of natural life.

He could commit "suicide".
