Seems that the email smears where the final straw after broken promises such as the Royal Mail sale - she also hated Blair and was waiting to see if Brown was any better. We already know the answer to that.

I crossed swords with her a few times via email, I think she had the responsibility for roads a while back. She was a very principled adversary.

Very much doubt it. They know they're going down at the next election so will ride the gravy train until it hits the buffers.

Just a pity that someone with principles has no place either, I'd rather have her running the show then Brown
