Shocking that no one intervened at all.
Absolutely. Scum, the lot of them. Disgrace that activity can go on like that, blatantly, and whilst there's at least one person willing to take photos of the whole thing, no one stepped in and pointed out the error of his ways.
As for the restaurant, he'd should have been kicked out and barred.

Even sadder that it's splashed all over the newspapers.
Agreed.Inevitable though given the couple and the venue. Other diners and even passers by were treated to the sights and sounds of the full-on event in real time.
Aparently, reading various reports, she tried to calm her husband on several occastions, stroking his hand and even kissing him on the cheek but the onslaught continued.
It's crazy. No man should behave that way least of all to his wife but emotions do get the better of people unfortunately.
Noone knows the facts - he may have found out she was having an affair or some other revelation.
We just don't know.
In sure I'd be banging my hands on the table if I found out the wife had been playing away be it in public or at home. Far better to bang some table than do anything else.
Who knows but its a private matter for them.
We just don't know.

He doesn't seem to be just banging his hands though, he's got her by the throat in one pic.We just don't know.
