There's a hughe field at the top/back of Coopers Hill that you can park in but the farmer charges a stload per car so they all dump them on the road going to stroud so it's a proper nightmare trying to get anywhere.

As usual with things like this health and safety is merely an excuse for people not being able to organise a cheese roll on a steep hill. Probably due to the costs of correctly policing such a popular public event has meant it financially non-viable.
