Miserable tube drivers for Olympics

Just sat down in front of the news to hear that the tube drivers have the potential to get up to £850 bonus for working the Olympic period. What bloody drug are these fking lazy cocksockets taking to think that they can demand these bonuses for working for the few weeks they would be working anyway?

A) my understanding is that it usually it forms part of their contract - I imagine Olympic bonuses don't feature in tube drivers contracts

B) they are private organisations as opposed to public services (I'm aware that some are part owned by the state, but this is irrelevant as they still operate as a private organisation)

If they have a contract but transport for london want them to be flexible and work more hours/weekends over the olympics, then surely it's up to them if they want to pay there drivers a bonus?

My understanding is that this is over and above the overtime they receive anyway...
