Anyone give a toss about Gibraltar's future?
Discussion
Am wondering how they feel about last week and wonder what the Brexit view point is regarding the future of the place? Also what would happen if
1. Spain tried a Galtieri one night? or
2. Gibraltar left UK, along with Scot and NI?
Actually, Id be curious whether anyone really cares about the place too?

Most of Hong Kong was leased. The island of Hong Kong and Kowloon were ceded in perpetuity but given to China when the lease ran out on the rest of it.
Where that leaves Gibraltar I wouldn't like to say. Sadly if they wish to remain in the EU they might have to accept Spanish control.
In the same way that NI might have to become part of the Republic. Perhaps the Scots, the Cornish and the Welsh could follow suit.
I am sure lots of people would be happy to watch them go.
We don't want anything to do with the EU, thanks very much - see recent vote!!Where that leaves Gibraltar I wouldn't like to say. Sadly if they wish to remain in the EU they might have to accept Spanish control.

(And we have Trelawney's Army for our own defence)!

Has anyone here been to Gib?.
Yes I expected it to be a weird little place because I once watched a tv series about Gib where they made it out to be a really odd little town with only a handful of people, most of which were very eccentric.
It wasn't like that at all. It was bigger than I thought, really interesting, and the money that seems to be pouring into it right now is staggering. There were brand new and extremely impressive homes and apartment blocks everywhere, and loads of building going on.
I really liked the place. It kind of felt like it had been neglected and left in the past for the last 30 years, but was rapidly trying to become like Monaco.
