Struggling to make sense of what's going on in the aftermath of this. Ignoring the confusing numbers of reported deaths, there's now reports of an explosion in a house that has killed two in relation to this incident. There was and then there wasn't two gunmen holding people hostage in a bar/restaurant. Someone has been shot by police, but the driver seems to still be at large.

Several more suspects have been shot in the port of Cambrils as police say they have stopped a second attack. Cambrils is a short drive along the coast from Barcelona.
