Have-a-Go "hero"

just became one

was just cruising home as i normally do.. but then at the set of lights ahead of me, i see to figures running down the middle of the road towards me.. i slow down: wondering whats happening.

As i get closer i realise its a typical cops & robbers situation. BIB guy ( out of puff ) chasing chav crook ( less out of puff and will most likely outrun copper )

so i do what any (in)sane person would do, and i h'brake turn the car into his path... crook effortlessly hops over my bonnet.. lol

i reverse out of the way for the copper, but can see he's still loosing ground, so i turn and catch up to BIB tooting my horn, then lean over and open my passenger door wide.

BIB thinks for a moment, then turns and jumps in.

meanwhile chav crook has slowed slightly, maybe sensing victory

once BIB is seated, i bravely screech off after him ( just like on the bill ) after what surely felt like seconds, i was alongside the chav again valiantly screeching to a stop ( no abs.. brilliant )

BIB jumps out and wrestles chav to the ground...

i reverse 50yards or so back up the road to watch the rest of the show.


in the end i get a thumbs up.

great, one less scumbag on the streets, Midlanders can sleep easy tonight... i think i should get a costume!

lol it wasnt a dream, you can call up oldbury police station and ask them if you like ( or whichever station is nearest to there i presume )

it was touch and go for a while!!

..you know how when you get caught up in the moment, things seem to go in slow motion? well this wasnt one of those times.. i WAS going in slow motion lol..

i could have just not done anything and riven around the pair of "joggers" but the fact i did "something" is surely better than just rubbernecking with my fingers in my ears saying "lalalalala"
