Saw this on order-order.com today. Wondered if it was possibly posted by a pher as it reflects a major conspiracy theory mentioned on here before.

some bod on Guido Fawkes says said:
PANIC!!!! I have just thought of the labour leadership’s game plan…

Labour cannot win an outright majority, even with the massive in built bias in the constituency boundaries.

Cleggy will not join a coalition with labour Gord as PM. Gord will not back down.

Cleggy will not join a coalition with the tories unless the tories back PR and that will never happen.

So the three main parties will fail to implement a coalition government in the allocated time (two weeks I think)

Step Forward Gordon Brown with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Brown, despite losing the election will, under his powers (as he IS technically still the PM until the Queen appoints a replacement) as PM will declare that the dangerous situation arising in the markets owing to the abysmal failure of the other two opposition parties to form a government to replace his, means that he is taking sole charge of a labour government under the auspices of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 to prevent an economic catastrophe and to protect the national security in these unprecedented times!

These are very dangerous times
+1 basically.

I doubt Brown would enact the Civil Contingencies Act as a result of a hung parliament.

I suspect it will be:

1. A hung parliament

2. A Lib-Lab pact conditional on Brown resigning

Then I think it will be up to the Labour party to decide on a new leader but in the mean time the deputy leader will assume the position of PM.

Unfortunately for all of us the deputy leader is Harriet Harman.
If this were to happen it would be a national disaster of biblical proportions. Can you imagine the effect on the markets of no one party winning the election & then one of the parties decides to change its leader? So therefore a large majority of the electorate will have not voted for the government and another large amount of the electorate would have voted for one leader and got yet another unelected one. The mess would be unbelieveable & might be the tipping point for the riots.

I'm of the hopeful opinion that we might be heading to a CMD/Clegg Pact rather than one which allows Brown back in. Lets hope so.
