Part of me thinks it's obscene to be able to make so much money without working for it, but I'll get used to it biggrin .
You presumably worked to earn the initial investment you made?

I have no qualms at all. Have done very nicely out of the PHR in my ISA and GIA (and so did my wife). As another poster has stated - how do you follow that?

It amused me to read this in yesterday's Telegraph just after getting the "we're oot" email from IM:

Paywalled.

I thought the email was fairly clear:

"We basically consider that after the twists and turns since launch we have now hit a sweet spot and PHR investment objectives have been met.

To this extent we are closing PRH to any new investments/reinvestments whilst we put in place a full return of remaining capital to all investors."

To me it's clear that last four stocks are being sold & everyone's cash returned.

Mmmmm I’m not sure.

Although the party has almost ended I feel IM are still confident of the remaining stocks either hitting their target or getting closer to it hence leaving them to bake? That’s how I interpreted the announcement. At the end of the day IM are very experienced in what they do so I’m happy with to go with the flow..

That's how I read it too.

Whatever happens, another big thank you to the IM team for such a great return smile

That’s how I understood it as well. Otherwise all eight would have been sold at the same time. Easyjet has a bit of mileage yet I reckon ...

I’m certainly happy leaving the remaining PHR in the hands of the IM guys until they decide to pull the pin on selling the stocks down, not allowing any new or re-investments seems pretty sensible given the small amount of stocks that are left.

Some of this stuff seems like common sense but managing to package it into a fund that has hit over 60% growth in a matter of months is nothing short of exceptional.

I have it on good authority that there's no plan to dump the remaining stocks immediately or in one hit, they'll each be sold when the time is considered right by the IM team.

I took it as they’re selling them with time being the driving factor rather than a target price.

Timing is how I took it. Eg If ezj jumps 5% on
Monday it will be gone. If it drops 5% wait for Tue.

Anyway it's been a fun ride.

Looking at the dashboard this morning I am a little confused.

IM Optimum Global Growth has dropped by around 8% overnight. IM Optimum Growth is down a slightly smaller percentage and IM Optimum Defensive has fallen like a we's drawers (around 15%). I don't have an awful lot in any of these but is this really the case or is this a glitch in the reporting?

Also, PHE is down in my ISA but up in my pension and in my GIA. I've not made any new investments or withdrawals.

I'm confused! confused

Morning All

It has been a quite manic week with the build up and run off of the last group of stock sales.

Thank you all for your very kind words and feedback. It has been a huge amount of work to build something that has never been done before and I think it is fair to say we all enjoyed it and made a very healthy short term profit from it. Next week we have more work to do on the remaining stocks.

I would also like to point out that it looks like we have had corrupted date through this morning for our dashboard updates so please don't panic, this is being sorted.

Right, I am actually going to take the day off with my daughter and will try to catch up on any missed posts tomorrow.

Cheers

Julian

Cheers jph

Heart missed a beat this morning thought we'd had a mini crash that I missed happening, next time the data goes wrong can you please make it be to the upside?

Less stress on the ticker that way.

On various funds I'm showing minus 12% 10 % 8% and 6% with a total loss from yrsteday over whole funds of 6.49% when I was expecting to see an increase of about 1%

Enjoy the time with your family 👍😎

Thanks for the update, I did have a bit of a panic when my PHR dropped by 9% (allowing for the sums that are on the way out), and OGG dropped by 3.73%, funnily enough I wasn't at all concerned that PHE had suddenly jumped by 18% only after entering the other two in the spreadsheet did I start to think well actually PHE doesn't make sense either.

Have a good day - forecast for rain the rest of the day here frown

Gone back to what it was approx 4 days ago but the details are all over the place.

Had -2p in one fund then and its gone up by 2.5k overnight.

If we can keep that one as is and sort the others that would be great smile.
