Bagged an unusual ISA yesterday.

1 year fix at 5.66% with Kent Reliance, but you can continue to make deposits throughout the year within ISA limits.

Normally you can only make further deposits for a max of 30 days with these.

No idea, the only real way of knowing is logging on and checking the rate because the new rate is live

The top rates are all slowly disappearing one by one, is the rates party over - have we officially gone over the hill?

I am still seeing 5.5 to 5.9 which is still pretty good if you ask me.
The NSI with 100% protected and 6.2 was an amazing deal though.

It is pretty good and not that long ago we would have snapped it up, but my point is I think we are now over the hill and on the way back down - hopefully slowly.

That's quite cool, as you say the ability to 'top up' the balance is unusual...unique?

It's a good rate for a 1 year fix even if it didn't have that valuable feature.

Now can I spare £1k to open one now or will I regret tying that up during impending house purchase...

They are probably having try harder than most given their recent issues.

That plus having to refinance £3.8bn of TFSME falling due through ‘24/25.
