After another poor week, I had a massive clear out and put the total proceeds into DDDD.
I now only hold AVCT, CREO and DDDD.
It’s quite cathartic having a clear out, I feel ready for next week but I may need to borrow that wheelbarrow........
Just curious why creo? I know the people and product there very well hence by interest in why you picked them .I now only hold AVCT, CREO and DDDD.

I sold out of some of my Cine mid last week, although still have a decent chunk.. put the proceeds into the sure thing which is RBG.
I’m going to try and sell first thing and then buy back in at a lower price, that always works right?
Sell the rest of your CINE first thing? BTW, CINE are still to confirm closure of screens til the year end. Though I'm sure you probably know that.I’m going to try and sell first thing and then buy back in at a lower price, that always works right?

Curious why you are so confident about RBG? Aren't they in the same boat as all the other entertainment types places (endless lockdowns, restrictions on numbers etc), debt mounting all the time etc?I’m going to try and sell first thing and then buy back in at a lower price, that always works right?
From a numbers perspective they seem to be doing ok, eat out to help out has been good. If the CVA goes ahead they will be able to lose some bars that are in less than ideal locations - they seem to have sufficient cash and a current low burn rate to see them through 6 months or so.
It’s going to be bumpy but if it pays off it could be a good 5/10x pay off.
Plus I love vodka.

It’s a definite gamble and I wouldn’t say I’m confident.

Much cheaper ways to get vodka! From a numbers perspective they seem to be doing ok, eat out to help out has been good. My weekly amazon prime makes it more than affordable.
Parking spaces will be available for the wheel narrows

Still no idea what spacs are! Talking of idp where’s 500 miles haven’t heard from him for a while
Yeah I hold him personally responsible for my worst performing share IDP !!!Re SPACs, they’re an experiment for me in my search for easy money. As I understand it they simply “buy” a target private company so the private company can become listed quickly rather than taking years to do so. A reverse takeover. If the takeover doesn’t happen then the spac shareholders get their money back. If the takeover does happen then the sp hopefully rises. I’m quite big in two of them simply to see how it works and if they’re an opportunity.
Sorry for the absence, been completely manic and haven’t had a chance to catch-up on this thread.
Have no fear Mike - you can always trust a Scotsman, just needs some time..

You need to join our discord group mate - syme is half of what we talk about : )
How do I do that? I Syme is a gamble but i like the outlandish sp predictions as I can dream of stuff I can’t currently afford. There is a small group that can know about syme. There’s an even smaller group that can explain it. Those that can do both? They become billionaires.

Does anyone else think SNG have done it? With the prof getting his recognition finally etc, surely it all points to something big...
tbh i think its just weekend hype from their man getting knighted and this alleged broker note which doesnt look that real to me. when theyve done it i would hope for a lot more than 20%!! all positive though so fingers crossedps is it legal to photoshop such a note and stick it on twitter out of interest?

Nice to see the increase - hopefully isn’t one of the top fallers tomorrow.

Yeah I'm 50/50 on AA, there's the chance for a nice profit, but then again the sp is 44% up on 6 months ago so the chance of a long steady decline if takeover evaporates is putting me off
i think the long steady decline will be instant tbh!Chilly for June said:

Asos wtf sales were up 19%, and pre-tax profits 329% at £142.1m, so ofc it's 7% down today...
Is this not to do with them worrying that their customer demographic are going to be suffering from unemployment and less disposal income. Then the fact people aren't going to be going out for the foreseeable future and less party wear needed.
That's how I read it anyway but yeah it sucks when profits are up but SP down.

I have RDSB for years, but avg more like £14 and this year picked up more sub £10. Even the reduced quarterly dividends are still pretty good returns.
Once GGP and EUA boats come in and I've paid off the mortgage and bought the 992 turbo S, I am tempted to dump everything into in BP and RDSB and remove this thread from my favourites, and delete the trading app ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

Saw a 992 Turbo S in the flesh the other day, looked amazing. Can I borrow it when you’re using the wheelbarrow??

I seem to be getting XPENG FOMO.
A few days ago they posted some record sales.
I've been watching them, could be a good long term hold.A few days ago they posted some record sales.

I think they both have legs.
China is a massive Market so even if they only get traction in that market will still shift allot of units.
I think they will end up in other regions before long.
Just checked and seems good days for both today NIO ~20% up quick google target price upgrade to $40 and XPENG ~14%.
NIO earnings update in Nov and I am betting they will climb to low $30s in the lead up. XPENG will also climb with it but below it (I think
NIO has better prospects of the 2).
Check out their battery swap stations popping up all over shop in China. From about 6 mins 30 on
