Can a Chase account be added to Apple Pay?
I've just tried adding my Halifax Clarity card to Apple Pay but it wouldn't work.
yep adds to apple pay no problem. I think i had it added to apple pay before the physical card arrived, as the card doesn’t have any numbers or anything on it, you need to take the ‘card number’ expiry etc…. from the app anywayI've just tried adding my Halifax Clarity card to Apple Pay but it wouldn't work.

Is 5%pa on round up worth having? Interested to know how much people have earned on it.
I've just had mine a year and had £99.03 transferred to my saving account. So that will have earnt about £2.50. I suppose I could have put £2 a week into the savings account and it would have earnt about £1.50 with the rising rate from 2.2 up to 3.8% now.Lots of things cost £x.00 so no good. You can game it a bit by putting x.01p of petrol in the car but generally most purchases don't add much.
On the other hand it was a bonus £99 I didn't really notice saving. Horses for courses really.
Looking to open a Chase account...
So if I transfer £500 into the account each month I will earn 1% cash back on the following months purchases, and if I want to I can immediately transfer that £500 back out of the account and still get the 1% cash back?

Not if you've spent it. So if I transfer £500 into the account each month I will earn 1% cash back on the following months purchases, and if I want to I can immediately transfer that £500 back out of the account and still get the 1% cash back?

In the first year, there's no requirement to transfer in, and no limit on cashback. At least there wasn't when I opened my account.
