The reason we have changed, is not because of the colour, but because the Visa Debit cards are more accepted than the old Maestro cards, that is purely the only reason! The colour means fk all, infact the purple one is better because it's a visa debit and not a maestro debit!
So you work for NatWest then? Why not make the new Visa debit card gold you goons?

Get an American Express Blue card. It's transparent with a massive shiny square in the centre.
It should satisfy your bling needs, however you'll get quickly tired of people saying "yes it is nice, but we still don't take it sir"
My wife and I used to go out for dinner with an accountant and his missues. Come bill time, he'd put his Amex card on the plate and the waitress would toddle off, only to return apoligising that they didn't take Amex. So he'd put his gold card on the plate, she'd toddle off, only to return apologising that it had been rejected, presumably because it was maxed out.It should satisfy your bling needs, however you'll get quickly tired of people saying "yes it is nice, but we still don't take it sir"
I never had problems with my bog-standard Barclaycard.
Manks
I currently have one of these gold NatWest cards - think it signifies I have a £250 cheque guarantee limit. My father also has one of these cards, but his was replaced by the new purple one a couple of months back. They haven't replaced mine yet, but it's a good thing, to be honest - the Visa one should be accepted at a few more places.

I've got the purple card, but mine is edged with red. This is different to other Natwest cards users that I know ... does the subtle pinstriping signify any difference? Is there a clue to "people in the know"?
It also says "Natwest Private Banking" on it, but that is a far less subtle clue.

You're all too young - when I was 18 American Express was the card to get - see the second sketch in this clip...

I've just got one of these sent through, looks like the one Midland gave me when I was 12!
Anyway, what would have been useful, given that then know that I have two accoutns with them, is if they'd sent the card with some indication of what account it refers to. fkwits.
I have 2 to, they offer a additional line of text on the card for free.Anyway, what would have been useful, given that then know that I have two accoutns with them, is if they'd sent the card with some indication of what account it refers to. fkwits.
