CINE having another storming day.

Quick question, on the LSE boards everyone keeps on saying wait til the next rise at 2.30pm when the US opens up. But surely this makes no sense, as they can buy at exactly the same time as us, when our markets open at 8am?
Maybe the assumption is that they don't get out of bed early smile

how's everyone's mood today? smile

Green across the board biggrin
Being a glass half empty kinda guy, my mood is one of frustration and self-recrimination for not having bought more CINE and MNZS biggrin If we were to close today where we're at, I think I'd be close to my peak June profit level (largely due to AA). I doubt the good sentiment will last though.

I have BOIL, GGP and NRR down today. I might top up GGP if we see the 12s today.

I made an impulse buy at 76p a few weeks ago....then averaged down to 52p. I'm holding for the rest of the year....hoping for over 120 by 31 Dec.

I imagine him planning his next addition to the fleet or marina.

EDIT, or planning his own JulianPH style thread of installing a swimming pool biggrin

Correct. Much of what is written on those LSE boards is dogst.

This week is almost like the good old days of early June.
My ISA overtook June 8th levels yesterday, though it has to be said the gains in Apple have offset losses in my recovery pot. My gambling pot remains some way short of those June levels.

Whole load of RNS come out for AA.

Form 8.5 (EPT/RI)

Shows some sales and purchases - no other information that I can understand.

Worth keeping an eye on this.

Managed to get in on Cine but 24 hours too late. Lloyds are doing me well but still losing on Amigo loans. Bought at 9p in the hope of a nice big rise that hasnt happened

Anyone else in Amigo?
I am. Bought around 14p, it went up then down and has stayed down.

I've been balls deep in CINE for months, buys everywhere between 37p and 91p. Glad I held my nerve for the last few weeks. Still believe it's a strong recovery play.

BABcock is getting in on the action as well, +4.65% Regretting not topping up recently when it was trading in the 250s (from memory). Would be nice to see this back in the 300s.

AA touching on the rumoured takeover price.... I wonder if we'll see another 10% if the 40p barrier falls.

EDIT : 40p paid.

I've been out or I would have topped up earlier this morning. I'll keep an eye on it.

I am intrigued as to how these shorts, circa 9% total, are going to close out. They're going to be climbing over each other to get out.
The US opening date looks like an obvious milestone but who knows.
I doubt they are worried if they believe it's a zero
Are they still betting on zero?

Genuine question.

The short tracker is still showing 8.75% (data will be a few days off reflecting reality)

In the ISA where I started this I'm in about £3k of cash at an average of 54p

However, bought £7.5k in pension at 75p, and more annoyingly bought some in kids ISAs in high 80s - it went up to £1 then tanked!

I try to view it as missing out on upside, rather than a mistimed buy smile Will all be fine once its back at £1.50+ whenever that happens!!
