placing and lots going on at aston
I had been hoping Mercedes would buy the whole thing but I'm not unhappy with them taking a 20% stake. With Toto's previous purchase and then Moers' arrival, the indications were there and it made a lot of strategic sense.More shares issued leaves me diluted, I should have sold and reinvested at least once to get a short term return but at least the longevity now looks more certain.

It would be interesting (albeit soul destroying) to read this thread back from page 1. I guess 2-3 names would stand out as people who know what they're doing and their tips can be trusted (I'm def not one of them).
Random luck most of the time.I mean I promoted (and lost) on Delta airways early on as they looked to me as the best recovery airline being alot of internal US flights. Turned out all airlines were screwed.
Equally Im sure im the one the on here who has mentioned games workshop a few times and ive been in them early at £44 a share and sold when they hit pre covid. They then continued to rise and a bit more research I bought back in at £80. todays high was £111 and it continues to be my best performing share by far. I'm not really into the multi baggers win or bust tbh.

As they were so low I actually bought a load more today! Complete gamble, I believe in their future even if it is flipping veggie nonsense instead of the pie and chips I'm about to have.
well played sir, my timing consistently sucks ballsInsurancejon said:

No I had high hopes there and made a loss I think in the end a few weeks back. That said they are very cheap now and I think they'll jump when they start lending again which I think is Nov/Dec time. Do you know when that is likely to be as I fancy getting back in?MikeStroud said:
