Inchape?

Trading at 18.75 at the moment

peaked at 593 in 2007

So, why have pendragon group share price started to recover, while Inchape bumps along?
It will never go back to 593 as there was a 9 for 1 rights issue a couple of months back

Anybody investing in Maxport?

http://www.centaurmax.com/maxport.html

"The unique combination of high returns and tax free profits make Maxport an essential element of any investment portfolio today."

Sounds too good to be true.

Agree, its peak value of 593 is equivalent to, say, 66p? So, they could go to half that, ie 33p, if the car market improves.

I thought as much. I just wanted to hear someone else say it as I hate missing out great investments.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's managed by Bernie M. smile

Fancy that. Big, uneconomical vehicles not popular in recession!

I think more to the point it's in pikey Luton where most people are skint flints regardless of a recession in the first instance. Jag also being a Stratstones is currently unaffected though, so some validity to your point but questionably IMO it's the location. Renault/Nissan dealership also closed down in Dunstaple but reopened as another dealer name.

Results out today show profits down unsurprisingly.

Yes, but drop in profits must not be as bad as expected - they are up a touch today.

Inchcape is at 28~ish p now. How far back toward it's peak value can it go?
