Glad I jumped out of TED when I did.
Me too, with a small profit. Back in this morning, watched a climb back but see it's drifting now.
And back out again with a small profit, watching to maybe hit another dip.

What's your take on the price drop then?

What happened to zim today? 11% down from yesterday? I had taken some profit earlier but left 70% in.

What is your research then? You're either coming to a different conclusion to the rest of the market or have information they don't. Just saying its a fantastic buy when it's had a pretty steady decline in the share price since launch sounds a lot like someone talking their own book - the least you can do is say why you think it's a good buy and why the price is cheap compared to where it should be.

Between the crypto thread, the one about Gamestop and now your posts, this place is becoming more like Reddit where people just pump their own investments!

Nanoco is doing really quite well now. I'm 64% up, which it just about covering my losses on crypto and rolls royce 🙃.

So much for my one decent stock.

It’s now priced at 1x earnings which is nuts, expecting it to recover

After a good start to the week, the health of my P/F has certainly taken a turn for the red frown

I bought some more today. 25% extra. It makes money and if you get rid of that 1 off Div of $17 they did and base it off of the current $2.85 quarterly div they are running at 20% div which is good enough for me.

Me too. I sold ZNWD at a painful loss to fund it.

The numbers are impressive (and nuts):
Current MC 6.26bn with EBITDA at 6.6bn, ie they will make more profit this year than their valuation
Consensus is showing they will have 4bn cash end of 2023 and 5.7bn end 2024

I think the global storm clouds are getting darker by the week. So over the past month I've been trading in and out of small positions in VILX - mainly just to see how it performs. Think I'll be putting more into it over the coming weeks.

It does feel the world is splitting or ready to split into:
Europe and the West with USA issolating as they are self sufficiant in everything
Russia and China with influences of Africa and poorer countries.

With talk of possible world crises coming, Ukraine/Europe/Taiwan etc there is growing talk also of a market sell off. With much of my stock sitting in the red waiting for medical breakthroughs/take over completions/alternative energy progress/aircrew re-staffing/house building, I'm wondering whether to ride out the storm or cut losses and liquidate what I have for a re-entry at a later date possibly with more secure stock.
Will probably deliberate for too long and it'll be too late to get out.....

This thread is literally called what's your big gamble.

Not, please proceed to tell me all of your own research so i do not have to as i'm just busy looking at ask prices.

Take a look at the spread, the amount of trading per day, its tiny.
Awareness is holding the stock back that is all. News flow has been very positive from the company. Results are arriving from drilling and lab testing. Take a look, in 3 years you may wish you had.

Agreed. Geopoliticial crisis, money printing, brexit, pent up consumer demand and central bank incompetence all adds up. I fear inflation is here to stay and the recent US bond moves would seem to support that. It might top out at 10% (?) but 8% - 10% inflation for even 2 years means economic carnage. And currently no clear place to safely store wealth.

I'll definitely be putting more into VILX.

Whilst the 12 month chart is impressive I threw my last pennies at ZIM last week.

It’s making more profit in a year than it’s MC and paying huge dividends.

So of course it’s down 6% today
