Knew the house builders would suffer the moment a interest rate rise was declared double hit for persimmon as today is ex div date . Started buying a little more now and will do if it continues to drop the next few days and weeks.
Few months ago I was over 10% up on PSN & BWY now it's 18% & 24% down respectively. I should have jumped ship a lot earlier but PSN have a good divi & BWY have just posted a good update on profit & sales. Been screwed before (2009) with the housebuilders dropping dramatically (I worked in that industry and saw the collapse). The UK needs houses, will hold/monitor.Turkish91 said:
Averaged down on some more ASOS @ 920 when it was about 18% down… then it carried on falling to 810… wicked
It’s a brutal day for ASC and no mistake. I’ve been sniffing around since 1600 so am sorely tempted at 800. That said trying to time this falling knife needs more luck than I seem to have at the moment….Skyedriver said:

The UK needs houses, will hold/monitor.We are a nation obsessed by houses, increasing population and knocking down old slums while not building enough new houses. I'm seeing it as a buying oportunity as it is a small part of my DIV portfolio that needed mroe put into it. and IF house prices really crash so much that the share becomes worthless then I'll just buy a huge house in the real world so its a win win

Buy the dips , buy the dips ??
No spare left to buy the dips and I guess there's more than me now waiting for some upward action.I’ve dropped a bit today in the slide but with 50% on the sidelines it doesn’t feel like buying time just yet tbh.
