Oh, he's a total arse. Look at his linked for the sort of circle-jerk they have.

Latest post I saw (I don't follow him, but others "like" his posts etc) was how he stayed humble and grounded by sitting on a £9.99 ikea chair they bought when the business was started. And then followed with some "inspirational" quote from someone.

Complete and utter cockwomble, he projects an image of this great company and great person, but really he's very cynical and very ambitious, and no doubt very ruthless. Its all a PR exercise. Has to be as their beer isn't really that good anyway. hehe (ducks)
The trouble is that this is the exact sort of tripe all CEOs are forced to have their name put to in order to attract mug punter cash.

I've some friends whose PR team pump out the most god awful on trend tripe that bears zero correlation to the nice, normal, very boring family men that they actually are. They have to do it because the money being pumped in to the businesses only comes in if this trip is put in front of them.

They have to compete against 'Ten things you never knew would fit in your anus' articles, mining scams, crypto junk and the King of bks, Musk.

I suspect half the disgruntled ex employees are probably just jilted because they didn't realise it was a stty, low paid job at a fermenting factory but instead deluded themselves that they were at the cutting edge of a new world order that old people are too dumb to understand. That letter seemed to make out that the people who worked in the factory were actually believing all the PR crap meant for the punters?

These lads look like a pair of w k rs. Cynical enough though how they will try to turn this around. The product is very poor and they seem to be constantly looking for investment. id say if anyone came in with an offer matching their inflated valuation they'd be gone in a flash. Thats as much as they care about Brewdog and its staff.

No surprises really, most of these type of companies that were orignally plucky modern startups are led by massive egos. Ice Bath types who believe their own hype and are fantastic at drawing in other people and rinsing investors cash.

Huel, Bol, Graze, Deliveroo etc all have (or did have) an owner led culture where people can only say Yes cos it's the Ceo's baby and he knows best...despite hiring in top talent.
....and for those who don't get there they flog ebooks about success to a load of other wannabe gurus in a travel tavern 'conference' room.

Or they could do what most multi-million pound business' are able to do and go to the bank.

But then they'd have to pay a return....

See my previous posts about what I think of their "crowdfunding" model.

Ex employees are usually disgruntled. And not to totally presume or judge but I get the pereception that brewdog employees would be on average more wokish and anit business than others.

Looks like the owner likes the perception of being different and caring and planting trees etc but actually just like any other business in that money talks.
