At £200 I would have used a spreadbet. Seems pointless incurring the fees in buying.

I bought boohoo @£2.07 and sold a couple of days ago @£2.53 after seeing them fluctuate up and down for weeks and not cashing in and out.
I was kinda hoping it would drop back down .....still watching & waiting
I was in at £2.05 but promised myself I would wait for results, in a couple of weeks, before selling, despite initially saying my target was £2.50.

Probably should have sold at £2.63 or whatever it hit the other week but I think there is more to come in the short term. Could be buying opportunity for you, after results, if they are good, and there's a spike and some profit taking to drop it back down.

MTFB.L (bouncing) and SXX.L (dropping) mean I'm in no rush to pick up more of those but I have a feeling they'll both 'move' shortly.

Fbt kicked me in the nads today, fall of ~20% on release of results which weren't all that terrible considering circumstances.... Good buying opportunity guys.... Probably not.

Have we seen the end of the bull run over the last week or to? I think so. I'll be buying more eastern based funds and Indian stuff in the run up to the new year I think.

Rough week here too, most of my stuff has been down most days including one down a few % on what I thought were solid results - I guess the market hoped for more!

Interserve had some bad is morning and the share price fell from £1.60 to 72p.

Thought I'd gamble a cheeky £200
What do you know that the market doesn't?
having recently worked there (on one of the problem jobs!) I wouldn't be buying into any construction/ engineering firms currently involved in Energy from Waste projects! Interserve haven't finished these projects yet, still 6-12 months left for some of them to run, still not commissioned, still not fired up, still not settled final accounts, still no delays agreed, no late finish penalties handed out by the client....... even if they do well out of a settlement/deal they will still be losing a chunk on it.

Unsurprisingly the slide continues!

For those in MTFB...

FDA announce new 90 day policy for processing new orphan drugs..

And as of yesterday...

Confidence ? And in advance of the October conference ....

I am very confident in MTFB.L, despite the share doing very little on the back of all this news.

If BOO.L has a jump when they announce their results, MTFB.L is where I'd like to put any 'profit'.

In fact, MTFB, SXX and BOO all green on my screen currently.

However, a lot of my investments are in USD and CAD so a strengthening GBP is hurting me more!

I've had enough of SXX, maybe it's a good long term investment, but the constant drops were killing me.
Let's hope MTFB improves my mood in the next couple of months...

More psychologically.

I could have just left it be and waited, but I concluded there will be future opportunities for entry and at the moment the money could be better used elsewhere.

It grates when you see other stuff ramp up and your holding is flatlined for 6 months. Nature of the game mate

MTFB.L up 9% today and rocketing off the back of them presenting at an investor and analyst event today.

I suspect this could be the turning point ahead of positive R2 results...

I do believe that this will fly soon and could well be worth multiples of the current share price in the not too distant. DYOR.

SXX.L still annoying me but I am just going to sit on it for the medium/ long term smile

Lot's of suggestions from the retail sector that BOO.L should have done well when results come out... Here's hoping!

I sold and increased by the same amount in MTFB. So far, so good.

I bought a few more Tesco the other week. Think i'll hang on to them for a bit and see how it develops over time.
