One of my regrets is a few weeks ago I was looking at Easyjet at around £12.60 but they were mid-range and weren't moving up so I sat it out. Then came results and here we are at £14+. I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit to low £13/high £12 and then can see myself being a buyer. The dividend yield at this price isn't great either.
If we're talking airlines, what are your thoughts on Wizz? Not a dividend payer but it's been a great buy for me. Every time I think it's running out of steam it pushes on higher.
Can't say I know too much about them or the business model and how they're coping with oil prices. They don't seem to have as many routes as other carriers and their price point is comparable to their competitors. Generally speaking I think people would pick Ryanair/Easyjet over Wizzair.

They seem to have been going up in an almost straight line since May. If I was a holder i'd probably be inclined to take some profit from the position. As a neutral i'd think of what happened to Boohoo and keep my distance.

I'm having similar thoughts, it's been on a good run so I'm tempted to de-risk however I think it has a very bright future still so i'm equally not averse to holding and riding out bumps along the way.. decisions decisions!

I bought in post brexit vote when I felt it got unfairly hammered given its eastern/central european bias compared to Easyjet/Ryanair. It's been showing a steady development in passenger numbers and load factor, although not quite at Ryanair levels of efficiency yet and they've recently placed a massive order for new aircraft which will almost triple capacity - there is certainly ambition there!

I'm no chartist but it doesn't look pretty. There doesn't seem to be much bounce to it yet.

I"m sticking with it, post black Friday and Xmas sales update with Pretty little thing taking off well with huge upsurge in search traffic which I expect to translate into sales should see this at £2.50 -£3.00 At some point next year.

Given that the uplift in xmas and black friday sales will already be priced into the current price (they won't surprise the market, they are expected), what makes you think the share price will almost double within a year?

Fair points here - the share price has lost about a third in a little under three months.

Is anybody else holding Reional REIT (RGL)?

The price at close of business today was 101p. I got an email offer as a shareholder, apparently as a shareholder I can buy the following:-

REGIONAL REIT LTD is proposing an Open Offer on the following basis:

Open Offer.

1 New Regional Reit Plc Ordinary share for every 8 Existing shares held at an Issue Price of 101 pence per New share.

Am I missing something or this a bit crap? confused

Was the price higher before they announced the issue? Would’ve thought they’d issue at a percentage below the closing price on a certain day and then, when announced, the price falls to (broadly) in line with the issue price.

Issue price could’ve been announced days ago at 110p and it’s dropped now issue has been made.

Yep ,after today ignore anything I ever say about shares. I am the curse of death and the grim reaper when it comes to timing on shares it would seem.

The wolf I am not.

Year high 109p, year low 99.25p.

Think I’ll let this one pass.

Personally not selling BOO but I think I'd be mad to buy more. Wouldn't be surprised if we see 100p or so...

I have to admit that on Tuesday I was having a look at top yielding stocks and Debenhams was up there at about 9% yield and going ex-div this week.

It may be an absolutely terrible idea which i'll probably consider over the next few weeks but there could be some value in buying it (unless Debenhams go to the wall).

I am intrigued. If you think it could drop another 40% from here, why wouldn’t you sell?

Anything is possible with high PE stocks. I think we are generally, in a large bubble. We only need a macro event to start it. Or say the clever directors start selling shares again. Has margin contracted again, I.e are they buying sales by slashing prices. We will soon find out. My personal views are that certain lady director is out of her depth and should stand down. They need to hire experience and get their governance in check.

I got out of Boo to early on the way up but one of the reasons I got out was their product does seem to be very cheap, i know that appeals to young people, I'm guessing their market is 100% 14 to 30 yr olds and that's a fickle bunch, they don't sell any brands and manufacture and design everything in house, which is profitable i know, but should they fall out of fashion it could collapse in on itself in a heartbeat.

Added to that the strange sale of the directors shares before the last results I see why the market is cautious to push the P/E ratio up to say where ASOS and Amazon are

Because if i was out of Boo now I'd possibly look at buying some. But being in, I'm not selling. I bought in lower (mostly) than present price. I buy for long term and not worried about dips. I'm not trading. Just collecting shares for later in life. Because I think it could go either way, I'm happy to hold but not buy more. Hope that makes sense. It does to me anyway.. sort of! Maybe I'm doing this wrong haha.

Your logic is pretty much 100% opposite to mine. If you didn't own any, then why would you buy now when you think it's going to dip by a large amount? Surely to should buy at the bottom then hold on to them?

The same goes for your current holding. If you think it's going to fall, then sell and re-buy at the bottom.

To me, it sounds like you think it could fall substantially, but there's a higher chance of it increasing by the same amount?

One of mine, EME has been taking a kicking lately and for the first time I'm sitting on a bit of a loss, had I not tied up all my ISA allowance elsewhere then I'd be topping up... Not a recommendation but I think it is starting to represent a good in opportunity should you be inclined for a near to medium punt.... DYOR etc.

Sitting on ZIOC with, for me, a large chunk of this years ISA allowance. It must be getting closer to some good news, hopefully the right news, either way it's a strong hold with excellent fundamentals... DYOR

Re UKOG for those that previously exited with their profits this must be the ideal price to re engage... DYOR
