Chase Bank - Anyone here have an account?

So you could close the savings account then open it back up and get offered the 5.1% ? While keeping the current account and roundup account. Which ironically the roundup account is 5.1%

Qualifying date was early March so not if you had money in there.

Anyone managed to get this working that didnt get an email/notification?

seen a couple people here or MSE, say to transfer out savings account elsewhere and close the savings account, then open new saver account. but dno this just works on people who got the email etc

if not i think it will be the push i need to switch savings accounts. i put up with it to use the chase current account for cashback and switch between but the app is painfully slow to update balances etc.

Just a heads up, I had an offer for a ‘boosted saver’ thing showing in the app this morning, paying 5.1% interest on instant access savings until 16th Jan.

looks like the same offer there was a while back, but potentially offering to the next batch of customers!

Cheers, me too - good timing as I'll be needing to move my money back from Metro when their rate drops next month. Evidently Chase took on board the feedback from those of us who weren't happy when only some qualified for the boosted rate last time - kudos to them for that.

I was considering putting £20k of it into the T212 Cash ISA though, but I don't really know enough about how ISAs work. Need to do some reading up.

only the %1 boost is guaranteed until Jan. Its still a variable account so if BOE drops. this will still drop but keep the 1% on top of base "saver account" rate. but at least means if we get the BOE drops expected in june/aug. should still stay above 4%

for me it was- open the app> click into the savings tab> scroll down a bit and it was in a box to click through for the offer

last time they offered the ‘boost’ to the savings rate, it was only offered to certain customers (there was a qualifying period or something).

Thanks! It's on the savings tab in the app - for me above the Nutmeg "Start Investing again" (I already took the free cash from Nutmeg and shut it down).

"Eligibility
You are eligible to get this offer if on 2 May 2024:

(a) you didn’t have a Chase saver account; or

(b) you had one or more Chase saver account(s) but the balance across all of those Chase saver accounts was below £50,000."

Have to say Chase has been mostly very generous with rates and cashback etc. My direct debits are still with NatWest but I use it for everyday spends.
