To Clarify : has Meta now been added to PHT? Do the other existing holdings in PHT get diluted to give a weighting to the new stock?
A swap against Global Payments Inc according to the email I got yesterday.

All happened at the start of the month which seems to have landed nicely as Meta has gone up just under 10% since then.

Meta was added with the last rebalancing, so I expect that someone waved a magic wand to deal with this!

There's still a bug when doing a partial transfer, I'd entered for example 4365.49, and it complains it wasn't valid, saying the nearest valid numbers were 4365.4 or 4365.5, seems like a rounding validation error, as in it's round to 10p instead of 1p

If he opens his own account and initiate 'transfer from another provider' using the account details for the ISA which you have attached to your account, all will transfer as planned.

Did it last month
My son is in the same situ. I did ask coops and he said to complete the form to update his age details which i have done a few weeks ago. Can I ask if you mean he opens up his own "big boy" ISA with IM or with another provider and then do the transfer?

I basically just want to withdraw the cash as its part of his uni funding for Sept.

Thanks for helping

I’ve got a friend who would like to invest with IM. I was telling him how good you are at the weekend wink

It’s been a few years since I joined and don’t recall paying any charges or fees but may have changed now. Is there a minimum upfront or monthly investment? Or any charges to set up an account with yourselves?
One of my mates also wanted to invest. I told him there was a one-off fee of £1k for advice. He gave me the money and I advised him it was a good idea. Happy days!! smile

In our case it was open a S&S ISA with IM as he wanted to leave the money invested

Hi Consigliere

Many thanks, I have!

To give everyone the head's up, a financial adviser newspaper (Citywire) has picked up (3 months after the event) that IM had previously volunteered to enter into a asset restriction in light of claims being made against it regarding financial adviser introduced SIPPs.

It is in relation to Intelligent Money as a company and has nothing to do with Private Clients or your investments.

As said, it is actually 3 months old and IM is just about to make an announcement relating to this, either tomorrow or Friday.

Cheers

Julian

Synopsis awaited - thanks Adam! ears

The big news of the day means that the (very probably) inevitable draws nearer. Would it be possible to have a few lines also on your view of the markets in the light of it? I'm kinda guessing that it's been expected for so long that any changes have been baked in long ago, so nothing to tell. But I'm probably wrong!

If this all happened three months ago, why was no announcement made then?

Inevitable? Big news? You aren’t talking about an election? A Uk GE impacting us market?

I'm guessing he means an incoming labour government and the impact it will have on markets?

IML/PHT isn't invested in the UK.

The likelihood of a Labour Govt has been an almost certainty for some time now so I would speculate that markets in the UK would already have reacted and maybe they are at the level they are due to this change in Govt. Anyway back to Nvidia.

Re the split, technically almost nil. More liquidity makes the stock more accessible. Plenty of investors can't or won't buy $1k stocks due to lack of funds and ignorance (it's 1k and msft is $400 therefore it's expensive mentality).

The dividend- it's a token really. Many funds won't buy non dividend paying stocks.

Their net profit margin has scaled new heights. 58% is simply spectacular. MSFT comparative is 36% and Apple is 26%

Clearly over time this margin will revert to something closer to 50% but it sure is an indication of the demand/supply imbalance and total lack of competition. AMD and Intel are no where to be seen. We think this will continue to be the case indefinitely. When Nvidia is generating $24B in Data Centre revenue in 3 months(and growing significantly) and AMD hopes to deliver $4B in a year.

There is a lot to dive into from the call last night but the take away is clear. Every segment is experiencing super high growth, Blackwell is in full production. They are sold out through 2025. Blackwell-next rumoured to be called Rubin is ready for next year.

The company is on target in our opinion of circa $130B in this fiscal year ending jan 2025 with met income of around $72B. Listening to TSMC CEO CC Wei, they are adding capacity to conservatively grow supply CAGR 50% over 5 years which is an enormous ramp. What is fascinating is we actually think non DC revenue will be much bigger in the future. Robotics, ADAS, health and drug discover, Omniverse digital twins. software via Nvidia Enterprises.

Incredible company, incredible future in our opinion. They'll change the world and touch everything digital.
