So the s have just changed the normal pension age for millions of people so it is now 68 instead of 67, or which I am one. I know there is a moaning thread in NP&E but I have a financial question.

Since my public-sector pension is linked to my 'normal pension age' I presume that means I can't now claim that either until 68? Will that apply to the entire thing?

Or, will the amount I have amassed so far be able to be claimed at 67, as I was promised, with any further contributions leading to (effectivly a new pension) that I will be able to claim at 68? ie a staggered retirement?
