Thanks for the kind regards
At first we were just going to burn the wood but it seemed a shame to do so and after all it was free
Material at the end of the day so had to come up with something
We have plans to clad the backside of the garage and use the strips for the corner wall were
The speakers are in the last picture and maybe some other bit and bobs I dare say
But takes time as i'm working away from home
And Bob sorry I don't have an old MG or something I just wanted some type of decoration for a other wise
Boring wall and being from there UK I came up with that
But if it makes you feel better here is my other car ok not from a UK company
But was built there engine and all hope that helps LOL

I have been thinking about making a picket fence using pallet wood. Some of the things people make from scrap / reclaimed wood is brilliant.
I am very much a rookie amateur, but here's a trunk I made out of old scaffold boards.
That looks mint. Not sure I believe your a rookie though, anything I made out of old scaffold boards would look like...................well, something made out of old scaffold boards, rough, split, covered in concrete, without a straight edge. Thanks. I imagine the pic made it look better. I decided to teach myself a bit of woodwork over the dark winter months. Old scaffold boards come out surprisingly well once they've been gone over with a Black & Decker mouse. Not sure of the wood used in boards but it's solid and has some nice lines when cleaned up. Just gave them a good sanding and then a bit of oak-coloured wood varnish. Heavy though!
