We had the same thing. Installers were what I would call Tier 1. Just delivery and plug it in. Ours needed to be hardwired so they sent a more qualified team who were ‘allowed’ to take the plug off and install directly into the socket. I called them Tier 2! They also refunded the installation.

Little bit annoying as it wasn’t same day but no complaints from me.
