Little info in the listing to give an insight into the scale of the task.

Not a single interior picture.

Some estate agents are strange.

I'm not sure if I'd call this pawn, for me, but I like it.

But what struck me is how relatively unique it is, for a townhouse to come with the original mews.

That's porn(pawn). Lovely part of town.

not convinced that buying a town house is going to be a good move. I can see town councils in the near future applying some fairly hefting parking permit taxes for those residents and possibly reducing them to one per household with a certain mandate as to car size. as well as LTN's, or ULEZ or other 'permits' required to even drive out of your street and across town. It's no from me. (not that I could afford it)

If you can afford £3m on a house in Scotland I’m sure a parking permit doesn’t top your list of worries rofl

Quite - a yearly residents permit for zone 1 on a 3L car is #684... Hardly the end of the world...
A nicely done conversion, decent garden, the annexe and although it is very central, it is a quiet street in the evenings.

I pass this house on my commute and it's always fascinated me. Now I can have a nosey around it doesn't disappoint.

That's pretty grim.
Also, having a constant traffic jam on my doorstep would mean a hard no from me no matter how nice the house was done up.

it was more to do with town houses in general than that particular one, and if the council decide that you can't have a parking space outside your house, being wealthy isn't going to solve it.

If only it had some kind of smaller building down the garden that could house modes of transport on the ground floor and the staff above … hmmm.

What a shame about the inside of it.

Not being able to easily park or have friends easily park due to no permit would 100% put me off that place….but then I would never buy a house without decent garaging so it wouldn’t be a house for me.

Its the fact that the studio apartment on the lower floor is available by separate negotiation that would be my main issue.

Is it? I assume it was done to the owner's tastes.

I like some bits, whereas in other parts, I'd have done stuff differently.

I believe it’s a redevelopment of an office. Nicely done to my eyes.

Parts of it are lovely, sadly other bits are just a bit to much.

Good spot. Seems an incredibly odd arrangement.

Like a less pleasing version of Cotswold Stone.

Nice gaff, it’s £2m more than the next most expensive thing which is going some.
Maybe its someone like Trump - If he advertises it at 5mil then he's worth 5mil!
You know Ilkley then rofl
