It's a proper stone built house built of proper stone. None of that Cotswold st which, IMO, is an abomination.

The stone built houses in this part of Yorkshire have character, have defied the elements for years and will likely last another 1000 years with a bit of care.

The ones in the Cotswold will all have been washed away by then, hopefully.

Wisley airfield previously had PP for an industrial waste composting facility, but it was never built. The site was recently purchased by Taylor Wimpey Homes, so expect it to become a large housing estate soon.

Think it's quite likely that Wisley airfield will end up with several hundred houses on it unfortunately. They've done a good job of making that house look like it sits on its own in the photos but it's actually quite close to the road and nearby houses. I'm sure it was on the market a few months back, they must have pulled it and relisted

I Like it. Price obviously reflects condition.
The real shame is the division of the courtyard and buildings to the east. There looks to be no boundary wall or fence. I'm an odd person so highly likely I would fall out with the neighbour.

We are too, but it seems relatively easy to get permission to fell, despite the need for approval to do any work on a limb thicker than Xmm. TPOs are more watertight.

Same legislation applies in both cases. However, IME local authority tree officers generally tend to be more relaxed where trees in CAs are concerned as opposed to ones with TPOs
